Chapter 15

The air flowing towards Wammu was aimed near Joseph, and even if it was just wind you can tell that it would've been very fatal if it hit Joseph. You could only watch silently as you noticed the trail of wind neared Joseph's head, your heart sped up slightly but forced yourself to calm when Joseph threw something at Wammu, only for it to be split in half. 

Then you heard Joseph's cry, "CAESAR LEND ME YOUR STRENGTH!!!", you couldn't help but smile as tears finally fell from your eyes, Joseph threw Caesar's bandana only for it to also be ripped to shreds, but you finally put all the pieces together when the faint dull smell of oil entered your nose. This was Joseph's plan. When Wamuu's remaining body was finally blown to pieces, you bowed your head in respect, your eyes watch their interaction and for a moment you thought you spotted Caesar's familiar outline standing next to Joseph before it looked towards you. When Joseph went for the finishing blow, his hand strikes the ground near Wamuu's head, blood came from Joseph injured hand, but you saw his intentions and could only imagine the pain Wamuu would be in. When vampires went to attack Joseph you took a step forward but before you could do anything Wamuu launched himself from a crossbow to kill the attacking vampires, and his horn broke.

Your gaze held a soft look as Joseph drink the antidote in front of Wamuu, before he faded into dust, Joseph saluted him as you faintly held a soft smile. "Wamuu, he was too pure and his Warrior philosophy, and became weak as a result", Karz announces, you frowned at what the vampires begin to say, "Well that's the end of Wamuu", "Indeed it is, what a disappointment", "You're right he's only a poser", Lisa Lisa seemed to be feeling the same as you at that moment, "Your followers are such base creatures, it makes me want to vomit", that wasn't until Karz killed them himself. You and Lisa Lisa were surprised until Karz continues to speak, "I alone am the only one to remain because", Karz takes off the cloth around his head reviewing his violet hair, "this world and all in it, belong to me!", he claimed. The vampires looked at him in awe, you admittedly almost followed a small instinct in you -probably from your pillar bloodline- to follow after him, "There's no reason for you to waste time on any one-on-one battles", a vampire shouts, "forget the rules let us kill these two for you", another yells, several go to attack Joseph and Lisa Lisa while you were held you back, "Let -go!", you grunt out.

Lisa Lisa delivers a graceful blow to the few that surrounded her before bring up the Red stone, "I told you", she scowls as the vampires panic, "it's me against Karz, one on one, but if those terms aren't to your liking why don't I just smash this thing here and now!", she yells. "I will honor my word, a one-on-one fight count on it, my promise stands that is why I chose to reveal my horn to you, as for my underthings behavior", Karz trails off as he walks away and signals others holding you to let you go, "as you can clearly see, they are already dead", he finishes as a few vampires are sliced in half and you are let go of, you jogged over to Joseph and Lisa Lisa. "All I want is the Red stone, however though, Esidisi and Wamuu were my comrades for 10,000 years, I have no choice but to honor their warrior deaths and their warrior pride", he turns back to look at you three, "I will fight you hamon users fairly, and then, I will finish this with my own two hands", then his attention focuses on Lisa Lisa. "For you Lisa Lisa, seeing the fighter you are, I will not think of you as merely a woman I will fight you with all the strength I have at my command", Karz walks out and you all follow him to where he and Lisa Lisa would battle, "-The Temple at Piz Bernina, champions of battle would come here to drink the blood of those they have failed mixed with liquor, they think the gods for the gift of life", he explains while you nearly drifted off, he looks at Lisa Lisa, "it's not an arena, but it will serve for our fight!", he announces.

You stayed quiet as Joseph confronted Lisa Lisa, "Coach Lisa Lisa, you may be extremely skilled but you are still a woman he doesn't look as strong as Wamuu was let me take care of him for you!", Lisa Lisa scoffs, "I will not", she removed her outerwear to reveal her battle dress, "I didn't live my life as I did and trained all those years to be replaced by some stripling", she finishes, he smiled at her response, "Oh that's right you have lived a lot of years!", Joseph grins, you look towards the Lisa Lisa, "Good luck, coach", you smile confidently and Lisa Lisa can't help but smile back at you. You and Joseph could only watch from below as Lisa Lisa and Karz begin their battle, that was until Karz suddenly disappeared, "He disappeared completely in the sudden white light, where did he go?", Joseph questioned, "No, he uses the light to blind us, it's likely that he melded into the stone", you observe, Joseph looked at you before both of you look up to see Karz attacked her from behind but something felt wrong. "Alright! A knockout, my wonderful coach really got him good-", "No Joseph", you cut him off as your stomach twisted, "What do you mean?", he asked passive aggressively as your eyes widened, "That's not Karz!", you shout as you look up at Lisa Lisa, "Lisa Lisa look out!", a pained gasp was your only response, for the real Karz stood behind her, and stabbed her with his blade. "He used a double!", Joseph gasped as Karz grinned menacingly, "What stupidity, why would I ever choose to fight one-on-one, the only thing I wanted out of this was the Red stone, because I plan to become the ultimate life form I am not a warrior philosopher like Wamuu was nor am I romantic. No matter the method utilized, in the end, Victory is the only thing that matters!", Karz shouts as he pulls out his blade from Lisa Lisa. "It's over!", Karz snatched the stone from Lisa Lisa, "I have the red stone, the only thing that's left is for all of you to make me happy by killing JoJo-!", Karz was cut off by your roar, undoing the sash around your waist you let hamon travel through it as well as hardening your nails, you and Joseph ran through the crowd until Joseph punched a vampire, who only grinned from the blow, "Your hamon I don't think it's working anymore, your weak now so-" , his taunt was cut short when Joseph elbowed his face.

"Joseph, remember that you aren't alone", you stood beside him, "(Y/n)? Wha-", "How about I make you an opening,hamon-", you breathed deeply as a wind gathered around you with your arms outstretched, "scattered airburst!", wind burst outward from your body making a good handful of vampires get tossed away until light shined on them, you and Joseph looked at the source, "Von Stroheim!". Stroheim was there with Speedwagon and a boy -if you remembered correctly Joseph told you of a boy he saved named Smokey- you both smiled at them, "It's nice to see familiar faces", you mutter before turning to Joseph, "Go Joseph, I'll handle the ground", you say, "But-", "Hurry, Lisa Lisa needs your help I'll keep whatever vampires off you while you face Karz, now go!", you shove him in Lisa Lisa's direction, he ran off as you looked at the vampires before you, "Let's dance!".
