One year. Imagine Ilhoon survived a year and a half in the army already.

For the time he wasn't around he made sure I wasn't alone. His members told me that Ilhoon asks them to accompany me while he is away. It maybe bothersome for them but I really enjoy their presence. It wasn't annoying but comforting I felt like having a real older brother.

We usually hang out more than Ilhoon and I does. Well it is fine with me I'd rather not get caught.

They have brought me to different places, of course we are accompanied by some staff too so we wouldn't stir any issues.

I easily get comfortable going out with them.

While Ilhoon make sure to update me about his military life whenever he had a chance to though I told him not to but still he insisted.

It has been two weeks since the last time we talked to each other. Maybe he is quite busy nowadays same goes with me.

'Yujin text message'
"You aren't done?"

'Yujin calling...'

"Heyyy!"
"Not yet but we are finalizing it already."
"Okay. Just making sure you'll follow here."
"Yes! Just 30mins ride from here right?"
"Yas! Yas!"
"Okay got to go."

After I've finished things I immediately ride a taxi. Tonight Arin invited everyone for a company dinner unfortunately I had a schedule with one of our clients earlier so I'm running late.

"Sorry, I'm late."

This cant be?

"Areum you can sit here it is an empty seat."

Everyone has their eyes on me and to the man offering a seat for me.

"Ya! Hyun Jae did you forgot? Her best friend is here though." I just smiled at him and proceed to sit beside Yujin.

I was so surprise to see the man who is sitting in front us. Maybe the reason why he never called for how many days. He has brewing something.

Probably he is on a vacation for today. I formally greet him and in exchange he mouthed 'I miss you'. I was so shock thinking someone probably might notice what he did so I glared at him but he just laugh it off.

Company dinner is usually fun because everyone is friends already and Arin just let them do whatever they want since we are outside the company already.

While everyone is busy conversing on their own suddenly they are teasing on the other side of the table.

"Areum-ie our intern has something to say."
"What is that?"

They look drunk already.

"Areum-ssi I like you." Everyone is shouting and teasing about us except for the other half of our table Arin, her husband, and Yujin somehow felt the tension. I must do something.

"What are you saying?"

"I... I am rich, I am a son of a building owner, I am handsome, I have everything a girl looks for man." He is really drunk. I wonder if he can face everyone after this. He is the shy type intern that we have.

"So?..."

"I'm saying... I like you... shall we date?"

I saw how the expression of the person in front of me changes though he is wearing cap prohibiting others to see his reaction but not at me. I probably memorize every part of him that even if he is fully covered I know what he is feeling.

Now let's play a little bit Ilhoon. But before I could the other intern speaks

"Ya! What if unnie has a boyfriend?"
"None. If she has, we should have seen him already right?"
