Today is the day I'm not waiting for.

I'm not sure how to face him. I don't know how to react in front of him. Should we act like everything is fine? Or should I act like a stranger? I mean it is too awkward after that night. I don't know.

I got in the board meeting earlier than I expected and next to me is the group of boys that I wanted to avoid. I hope we can finish this one professionally.

"Hello Areum!"
"Hello!"

Expected and not surprise. He acts cold to me.

The meeting goes on and damn! What is this kind of atmosphere? Every minute is getting heavy and heavier. Aside from Ilhoon's intimidating aura I don't know what seems to be the problem.

But it feels like déjà vu? This is the same aura he radiated on our first meeting. I tried to stop myself from laughing as I remember everything.

It happens so fast that it feels like yesterday. I remember how he gave me these cold shoulder because I'm an incompetent employee, but as we get along... he liked me... but he wasn't suppose to.

I was startled when he suddenly talk.

"Wait. Noona when did you agree with this?"
"Oh I'm sorry Ilhoon I forgot to tell you."
"Nevermind."

I know Arin feels the tension but doesn't know where it is coming from. Ilhoon is a moody person but he never had the urge to act like that in front of his sister.

"Maybe lets take a break first I will just call someone."
"Okay."

I can't handle this anymore. This is because of me? Is it? Maybe not? Or maybe I need to leave so everyone will not suffer.

"Areum aren't you going to eat." Yujin asks.
"No. I still have another meeting to attend to. If you may excuse me."

I immediately leave the room after Arin.

Honestly I just don't want to see Ilhoon after what happened. But this is getting crazy.

Yujin followed me as I leave the room.

"Ya! I saw your ex."
"So?"
"He's doing fine."
"I know."
"What if one day..."
"Stop."
"Ah right earlier..."
"Stop."
"Okay!"

We used to tease each other everyday that things like this are normal for us. But today seems so different I'm not in the mood at all. Clearly I can't handle all these stress.

"Areum-ssi the meeting is cancelled."
"Ya! Why?! Ah... sorry I mean what happened?"
"They have reschedule it."
"Okay! I understand."

So fortunate of me I still have another hours to see Ilhoon.

"Ya! What is that?" She might be completely taken aback on how I am acting today.
"Ha?"
"There is something going on here."
"What?"
"Nothing. Lets go back!"

Honestly, I didn't get enough sleep last night because of this man sitting in front of him. Damn!

I am very sleepy I need to do something to wake myself up.

I cannot understand a single thing anymore. I can't even hear what they are saying. My eyes are starting to fall when...

"Areum-ssi?..."
"Areum-ssi?..."

"Yes Sajangnim?" Damn but I still feel my eyes are going to fall.

"As I was saying I'm going to put you as the representative of our company during the whole campaign and you are going to work together with our ambassador. Is that okay with you?"

"Yes... Yes?!"
"What?" We both answer at the same time.

Everyone looks so surprise the way we answered but his members have this meaningful look to each other.

"Is there any problem?"

Their eyes are darting back and forth with me and Ilhoon.

"Nothing Sajangnim. I am looking forward to work with our ambassador."

And I believed that was the best ice breaker I feel like I wouldn't sleep for the whole month.

After the meeting, I straight ahead to my table to finish some papers.

"Do you want or you don't want to do it?" Yujin asked.
"What?"
"Working with him."
"Ha?"
"Ya! Stop pretending. I know you and your lies. Something is definitely wrong with both of you."
"I'm good as long as we keep this professional."

"Then can I be a perfect fairy god mother for today."
"Why?"
"Though I can just shorten your working period with them. Will that be fine?"
"And how are you going to do that?"

She let me read a paper.

"Omona!"
"Just treat me later. Okay?"

My 2 weeks vacation leave approval. The first week will happen on the last week of the campaign. I think that is enough.

After going to the washroom I greeted the boys who are about to leave and he just nod at me.

Do you hate me now? Yes please. Hate me and never think of liking me again.
