Ilhoon's POV

The collaboration project is already done. We are just waiting for the release and the reaction of the public audience.

"Ilhoon-ssi? Why are you asking me to meet you here?"
"Let's eat first."

"If this is about last time I can just forget about it. Don't worry."
"No. I will take responsibility of it."
"What are you saying?"
"Noona, maybe this time it will work."

"W-what are you saying?"
"Noona what if... I... I still do love you? Can't we continue what we have left behind?"

"Ilhoon..."
"I know I doubted myself, insecurities was all over me but now I will do everything that I can to protect you, us."

"Ilhoon..."
"Can you still give me a chance to make things right for both of us?"

It was a long silence before she nodded.

"I promise you, we will tell everyone about us this time."
"You don't have to..."
"You deserve to."

I knew from the start it wasn't and it wouldn't be easy. Things have been in fast paced.

I can still remember the time when I talked to my members about this.

"You! Are you crazy?!" Changsub hyung pulled me up by my collar.
"Stop it! Changsub!"
"You! How dare you do this to Areum?! You know how she waited for you and in return you will do this."

"Hyung what about joohyun noona? Aren't they allowed to be happy? Ilhoon hyung sacrifice a lot when you are away." Sungjae meddled.

"Why Sungjae? Why are you doing this? Are you feeling guilty?" Everything was so messy at this point.

"No!"

"Are you feeling guilty because you know it was somehow because of your relationship they decided to break up."

"No. They decided to break up because they wanted to protect all of us. They wanted to protect the names of their group. Now tell me hyung? Don't they really deserve it?"

Changsub put me down.

"I warned you already about this last time, right? You aren't allowed to meddle in their relationship." He was still talking to Sungjae.

"It is my decision, hyung."
"So... take responsibility of it." Then he left.
"I am just disappointed with you, Ilhoon. I wasn't against any of your relationship but the way you handle things is somehow disappointing." Minhyuk hyung said.

"You know how I hated taking sides as your leader but this time Ilhoon this is below the belt. Of all people you guys, my members, are the last people that I could think of being in this kind of situation. You should have ended everything first with Areum before going on in another relationship. She deserves it. She deserves an explanation. She deserves a proper closure."

Eunkwang and Minhyuk hyung also leave the room.

"Hyung aren't you going to scold me as well?" Peniel hyung still here.

"I dont know. Areum is a good catch. Though what  you are feeling is what most important right now but honestly, your situation is so fucked up man. You also need to understand where the hyungs are coming. We have stayed longer with Areum maybe longer than what you have. Fix what should have been fixed."

That is right. They spend more time with her. Hyungs are always accompanying her while I was away. Later tonight I must talk to Areum.

After that incident it took us long before we had a group schedule. The gap between Changsub and I is getting bigger though we act professional if we need to meet.

"We have a schedule next week for a photoshoot." According to our manager, it is the summer campaign photoshoot for my sister's company.

Yes. My sister already know about us. I can still remember that day I introduce Joohyun noona to my family.

"Noona, come over to our house later."
"Why? You come home? Suddenly?"
"Hmm!"
"Why?"
"Just... just find out later."

Probably she already knew about the situation since it has been 3 months already or maybe she will be shock about the revelations later.

My parents are quite shock by the sudden confession that I had before I bring Joohyun noona home. They got mad just like my members but they trued to understand me as well.

Minjoo noona was running late for the dinner.

"Sorry I'm late! What is happening?"

I can see how shock she is seeing Joohyun noona at home.

"Oh Red Velvet Irene?"

They greet one another while my sister is looking so confused.

"Minjoo take a seat. You join us here. Why didn't you bring your our grand son?"

"Why Ilhoon suddenly come home? I rushed myself coming here that is why I didn't have the chance to bring him here."

Right, I already have a nephew.

"Noona, the reason I asked you to come home is... is because I wanted to tell you that Joohyun noona and I is already dating."

Noona looks so shock. I know she has many question but instead she just congratulates us.

Later that night she dragged me in her room.

"What is this?! Explain yourself Ilhoon."
"Why are you so mad? I thought you are happy? I don't know why you are so shock. Was it because I am dating Red Velvet Irene? Or what?"
"What are you saying?"
"Noona, I don't understand you."
"I also don't understand your situation Ilhoon. You and Areum..."

She didn't know?

"Wait. You didn't know?"
"What?"
"We already broke up 3 months ago."
"3 months? W-what??"
"I thought you already knew."
"Why? What happened?"
"Noona..."

I explained to her everything. Yes just like what my members reaction. She almost forgot I am her brother.

"I don't know what to do with you. But if you are happy then go on your happiness above all is what matters."

After that day, noona and I barely had any communication at all though we rarely message each other but this time the silence is defeaning, the distance is suffocating and I can't do anything about it. From my members to my sister.

"I will miss being jobless. Hay" my thoughts were suddenly interrupted by a complain. It was from my members voice talking since we are together today for a schedule.
