Ilhoon's POV

"Hyung!!"
"Why? Why?"
"Is that true?"
"What?"
"I heard you..."
"What? Sungjae can you please calm down."
"Okay! You... I mean you have a thing before with noona?"
"What are you saying? With who?"
"Noona. Joohyun noona."
"Suddenly? H-how did you know?"
"Soo... I just heard it."
"Then? You don't believe her?"
"It's not about that. When? Why we didn't know about this?"
"It didn't last long so I didn't bother to tell you."
"When? Why it didn't work?"
"Sungjae it was long ago."
"So why did you..."

"Oh Ilhoon, Sungjae lets eat."

I suddenly remember that day.

After the joint concert, I was invited as a solo artist. I passed by some junior groups including Red Velvet. I stay at the waiting room for a while before going home. The door suddenly opens while I am busy at my phone thinking it is just one of the staff but it wasn't.

"Ilhoon..."
"Oh noona?"
"I have something to say. Do you have a time?"
"Yes? Right now?"
"Okay. I just want to say... I like you... Ah! You don't need to answer I just wanted to tell that to you, that's all."
She said it so fast that I can't even process what is happening. Fortunately, it was only the two of us here because her face became so red. I stopped her before she leaves.

"I... I like you too." who doesn't like Bae Joo Hyun. I do like her since I don't know when as well. Maybe was it before? When I had the chance to talk with her? Since then I have this admiration with her from afar. Never thought of pursuing her so I just hide whatever I feel.

Back then, I was complaining why no one is hitting up on me. But right now aside from the fact that I was so dumbfounded. I don't know how to react as well. It is Bae Joo Hyun who just confessed to me. I must be the luckiest guy in the world.

"Where are you?"
"I have photoshoot for today. You?"
"I have idol radio later."

Days passed by just exchanging messages and calls. We decided not to open up this with our members this early.

"Sungjae you must be careful. Dispatch eyes idols who are dating nowadays. Especially SM talents, Red Velvet or just Irene are their greatest catch. I knew you can handle these things well."

After hearing those words from our manager I got scared. I am not as rich or competent as Sungjae how can I protect her in my case. We are both face of the group as of the moment. I cannot ruin both groups especially some of our members are in the military and they left us a big responsibility to maintain what we have.

"Aren't you tired you are having a comeback then a photoshoot?" I asked her.
"No. I'm happy I got to do all these things while I still can."

I saw how her eyes shines brightly thinking of it. I cannot just simply take it away from her, just because of a scandal. Also, if one of us gets caught there is a possibility that other members will be revealed as well. I don't want anyone of us to get in trouble.

Before it lasted a month I decided to end it because my thought always distracts me.

"Noona?"
"Yes?"
"Is there a problem Ilhoon?"
"Me."
"What?"

I ended it through a message but I can't exactly remember how did I tell her. Bullshit. I know it sounds like a bullshit. Of all people, she doesn't deserve it that way but I cannot imagine saying those things personally.

"I understand. We need to work hard for our group. Til' then Ilhoon. Thank you."

Everytime I saw her I feel ashamed but instead of avoiding me she greets me with a warm smile that I know is genuine. I must be a fool to let someone like her go.

I was snap back to reality when our manager came.

"Everyone next month you will have a collaboration."
"Collab? With who?"
"Red Velvet."
"Ohhh"

Sungjae locks eyes with me. I don't know what it means.

"Tomorrow is your first meeting for the collaboration. If this will be successful there are more line up schedules for all of you."
