Ilhoon's POV

Another day of photoshoot. For today's theme is bad boy image that is why broken glass are everywhere. After awhile we finish it earlier than expected.

"Areum? Are you okay?" Eunkwang hyungs voice caught everyone's attention.
"Why? Why?" People started to gather around them.

"It hurts."
"There's a blood on your foot. Ya! Help me!"
"Why? Why?" I can't help but to go to as well.
"Blood." Almost a whisper because her voice is trembling.

Areum has her eyes still closed while foot is covered with blood. I immediately move people away from her.

"Get me some tweezers and alcohol. Hurry!"

"Alcohol? No! It hurts!"
"It wouldn't."
"No! No!"

"Ilhoon can you do it?" I just nodded at hyung and started to remove a small piece of glass but she keeps on resisting.

"Ah!! No! No! I'll do it!!" I can see pain from her face. I need to distract her.
"What happened?" I asked her to divert her attention.
"E-earlier... I don't know maybe while breaking some glass some strike on my foot... I don't know ahhhh!"

There are some small pieces stuck and some cut her foot maybe it was because she is just wearing a sandals.

Areum keeps on pushing my hands.

"It hurts! It hurts! It hurts!"
"Wait! Can someone hold her hand?"
"No! No!"
"It really hurts!"

She is crying already.

"Then we will bring you to the hospital."
"No! W-why? I am fine. I will just go home."

Honestly I am also afraid to remove this one because there is too much blood already but seeing her more in pain. I don't know.

"Changsub hyung hold her hand tightly."

I tried pulling off the bigger piece of glass while my members are trying to distract her attention but she keeps on complaining how the alcohol stings.

I successfully remove it and clean her foot that was covered in blood earlier but there is a possibility that there are still pieces left since her bleeding wont stop.

"Are you okay now?"
"I'm sorry. I'm really sorry everyone to cause this mess."

She was about to get up.

"Ahh!"
"I'm really sorry. You should go now maybe you still have a schedule. Also, thank you."

I was about to pick her up but she refuses to.
"No! I can manage. Thank you."

This girl is very hard headed. She can't even stand.

"Hyung can you bring her to the car." I asked our manager

"No! No! I'll just ask Yujin to pick me up here."
"Areum, your wounds need to be clean properly." It was an authoritative voice from Changsub hyung that he rarely uses.
"Yes! I understand. I will just clean it later at the office."
"No! You are coming with us."
"But..."

She was silent at the backseat sitting beside Changsub hyung.

"Just drop me off at the nearest bus station. I can handle this already."
"No."
"I can walk already."
"If you insist then we will just bring you in your office."
"I can..."
"Areum, you can't walk properly." At this moment they are practically bickering at the back seat. Honestly no one dares to oppose Changsub hyung whenever he uses that tone but Areum is really different.

"I understand but I probably bother you already."

"It-is-o-kay!"

We dropped by at the nearby clinic. Our manager came back to the car telling she is insisting to leave her at the clinic but I cannot let her. However, I can't go down as well in this car to check her up.

I am waiting for Changsub hyung to tell anything but it seems like he wouldn't say anything anytime soon.

"Tell her that my noona asked me to bring her personally at their office."

After a couple of minutes they come back. Before she rides—

"Wait! You know... I can go there by taxi I will explain..."
"Go inside already."
"I already interrupted your schedule..."
"Areum..."

She just silently ride the car.

'+♥️ Calling...'
"Are you home already?"
"Not yet. Why?"
"Nothing. I just miss you."
"I— me too."
"Take care!"

Quite awkward to talk to her when my ex girlfriend is just in the backseat. But I do really miss her.

After the call she keeps on messaging me nonsense that I can't help but to smile. She really knows how to make me happy even in her weird ways.

Areum's POV

Weeks after the incident. I decided to rethink about my life decisions and analyze things around me and I came up with a final decision. I will just look forward for better days.

And today is probably the longest ride of my life but I am 100% sure I don't want this to end. Peace of mind. I gained it this time. It is never a surprise to find it at my comfort people. I am with Eunkwang, Minhyuk, Changsub, and Yujin. They told me they are bringing me somewhere I don't know.

Maybe what Yujin told me helps a lot, a lot way better. I stop pretending at least in front of these four people.

"I know you are itching to ask me what is his reason but maybe you have an idea already." Out of the blue I just blurted it.

They aren't answering but I know they are listening. I am looking away watching the view as the car speed off.

"Do you?... because I don't."

They all look so confused.

"Ey! Hahaha don't worry it is because I told him not to tell me."
"Are you serious..."
"Why?"

They asked.

"I don't know as well but I am fine... I will be. Promise. Everyone! Stop that kind of look we are here to have fun. I just opened it up because I wanted to loosen up a bit."

I find comfort as well in the sea, sand, and sun. It wasn't the best beach that I have seen but as of the moment it is perfect.

"Oppa you aren't talking to him right? Why? Is it something related to me? Or I am just assuming things." Looking at Changsub oppa. There must be something happens.

"How did you know?"

"Don't choose me. Never. Choose him and your friendship over me. You are friends since then. You are friends way before you met me. Maybe this time I am in my weakest state but don't you think he do as well? He was a great pretender you know? He already master that piece of art. He looks so strong but weak inside and deep down somewhere in him, somehow he is lost. He will try to cope on things the way it is convenient for himself or for everyone but that doesn't mean he is okay though he tries to show he is. He wasn't. He thought he is okay because he got used to it but he wasn't."

"It's hard you know? I have treated you as my younger sister already. He has a sister as well, I think everyone understands what I've been meaning to tell him. Maybe I acted way too much but nobody deserves this kind—"

"I know... But listen to him as well. There are things we probably cannot work out that break up is the only solution."

"How can you have those mindset even in the midst of your pain."

"I... don't know as well but right now he probably miss you a lot and it really shows."
