Chapter 8

It wasn't so late, I've only been home at hour.. I had to go out again, I sprung from my bed and made my way down the stairs grabbing my coat on the way down "Mum, I'm away out!!" I shouted as I headed towards the door "I will phone you when I want you to be in, Answer this time!" My mum shouted from the kitchen.

I made my way towards the woods, my mind telling me to go in but my heart telling me different. What's so dangerous about the woods? Urg they are imagining things. I saw a shadow running in the depth of the woods, I thought I was imagining things but it kept appearing, I started moving getting further and further in the woods.. The shadows disappeared, I spun around on my heels looking around me, without noticing I was suddenly pinned against a tree "haven't you been told already!!" The voice said, I couldn't seem to tell who it was, but by the strength and touch from their hands it must of been a girl "Been told what?" I said without hesitation "TO KEEP OUT" the face came closer, it was that girl from school the other day that was with Luke but this time her eyes where darker than black, they were piercing into my eyes "LAYLA!!" A voice screaming from the distance, she let me go I stayed on the spot not knowing what to do the body from behind grew closer, it was Luke "Lilly, haven't we told you!!" Luke's voice wasn't as pissed as it was last night "Layla, Leave.. don't tell anyone!" Luke stared at Layla who nodded and made her way. "Luke, what's so dangerous about the woods all of a sudden?" I asked letting the words flow out my mouth "If we told you, you'd not believe us. You'd think we're crazy" his raspy voice crackled "Why don't you tell me!!" I said moving closer "No, Lilly please leave before-" Luke's voice trailed off, he spun on his heels to look behind him.. eyes in the distance, Red like fire was growing closer "Lilly run" Luke spun around and stared me in the eyes, I couldn't move "Now, Run to my house.. My sister, Emily will meet you inside, tell her your a friend of mine" Luke said pushing me to run, I spun on my heels and started running towards the house I grew faster and faster..

Emily's p.o.v

"where the hell is Luke! It's my time to go out I'm starving here!!" I said as I ran through the long corridor of the house. I could get used to it here! I made my to the kitchen and sat myself up at the table with Ashton and his wife Khemce as I heard a knock at the door "I'll get it" I jumped from the stool and ran to the door, I flung it open.. There standing at the door a girl roughly my age was standing "Emm.." My voice trailed off "HELP ME, LUKE TOLD ME TO RUN HERE AND AND-" the girls voice stopped dead, wait Luke!! "where is my brother!!" I screamed stepping out the door "He told me to run and tell you that I'm a friend of his and-" as soon as the words came out her mouth I flung her inside "Ashton!!" I screamed from the hall, Ashton came running through his eyes full of anger as he saw the girl standing in the hall way "She's a friend of Luke's, where is he" tears ran from my eyes, I felt the girl chittering Khemce came from the kitchen to grab the girl, she flung her coat over her and walked away with her to the living room "Ashton we need to find Luke" I pleaded "I will look for him, Emily you stay here! CALUM COME HELP ME!" Calum ran down the stairs and followed Ashton out to find my brother, they better find him.

Lilly's p.o.v

I was sitting on the couch in a huge living room with a woman beside me, she came in with some hot coco and turned the fire on "Who are you dear?" The woman said as she stood on her feet turning around to me, her pupils where growing bigger and bigger every time she blinked "Lilly" I said my words stuttered "Hi Lilly I'm Khemce, that's Emily" she pointed over to the door where Emily was leaning against the door frame, she didn't look to happy to see me sitting here. The door flung open stumbling in Ashton and Calum both with Luke's arms around them "Luke!" Emily screamed as she ran to him "Look what she done" Emily's voice growing higher. She spun on her heels and started pacing towards me before I could move she grabbed my throat and pinned me to the wall "How dare you do this to my brother!! Pathetic human" her eyes went jet black her teeth started forming into points. Fear started to fill my body, I took one look at Luke noticing his lips where bleeding and he hand bites and cuts all around him, I took a massive gulp, it struggled going down my throat as I felt Emily's grip growing stronger "Emily drop her" a voice said behind her placing a hand on her shoulder. Emily let me go and I dropped to the floor, trying to catch my breathe I looked up noticing them all around Luke "I-is he g-gonna be okay?" I spoke up still not getting my breathe back "He'll be fine.. But with you, not so good" a woman's voice came from in front of me, I looked up to see a blonde hair girl standing in front of me, she bent down in front of me and shook my shoulder trying to get my concentration "I'm Chloe" she said a smile lighting up her face "I'm-" Chloe cut me off "Lilly, I know your the girl who's in danger" she looked at me "Danger?" I said fear through my eyes "Yeah.. I'll protect you though" Chloe said as she gave me a hand up, my legs grew weak again, I fell to the ground again this time I felt arms grabbing me "She needs to rest" a voice beside me said before I knew it went dark.
