Chapter 11

I woke up, I was basically drained, I rolled over to my side to take a peak out the window to notice today was such a terrible day, no blue sky, everywhere was dark and grey, rain was falling hard, maybe today I should just stay in and rest as I thought about what the girls said last week. Yeah, day in and rest sounded good, I told my mother that I could barely move my body was basically super glued to my bed, that's how weak I was.

I was home alone by now, it was around 2pm. I was starving, my body wasn't as weak as it was this morning I found strength in my legs to carry me down stairs to get food. I opened the door and scanned the fridge to find pizza, that sounded good, I placed the pizza onto the bunker, walking over to the oven I heard a bang at the window, I looked up to notice there was nothing there, I looked away and started to get on with whatever I was doing. There was another bang at the window, yet again nothing was there, maybe the wind was starting to pick up, I walked over to the window to look out to streets behind us, in the by pass between the house a dark figure was walking away looking back as they left, eyes where red, red like blood. I panicked and ran, I ran through to the living room and hid.

Luke's p.o.v

I didn't go to school today, weather like that is a perfect day for a vampire to go out hunting so me cal mike and ashton went out for a hunt after the girls came back from there's. It was the perfect day, animals where everywhere to find. I couldn't think straight, my mind kept whizzing off, I didn't know what was wrong but I shook it off and ran my fastest to catch this deer. It tasted good, I'm not like a human sucker. I feed on animal blood, stories don't tell about our kind because we aren't 'scarey' enough, oh well it doesn't bother me anyways. My mind was still playing around I couldn't focus my mind was everywhere. Lilly kept playing in my head, the day I told her I was a vampire, I didn't know why, why this moment of time. My insides started to feel as if they where fading my eyes grew hot like they do when they turn black. I knew something was up there and then "LILLY!!" My heart raced as I sprung from my seat running through the kitchen to the garage to jump in my car "Luke!" Layla shouted as I passed "What's up?" She said as she chased me down the stairs to the garage "Something's going to happen to Lilly I can feel it?! Tell Ashton to get a room ready!" I said as I speed through out the garage and made my way to Lilly's house.

Lilly's p.o.v

The banging was still coming from the kitchen I covered my ears just so I could block the noise, I was scared. More scared than I have ever been before. I felt tears starting to form, a knock came from the door, I looked through the door way to the front door a dark figure was standing, I knew it looked familiar so I made my way through, taking a deep breathe as I pushed the cold handle down. The door swung open as Luke stood there "Lilly pack bags for the week!!" He said as he pushed through into the house looking around "Why?" I said panicking the banging stopped "They know where you live now, they are coming after you, please just go pack bags!!" Luke started to search the house, I ran up the stairs and started packing my things. Clothes for school, clothes for bed, clothes for anything else, my sketch books, my phone and my headphones. I was ready and walked down the stairs to find Luke standing at the door waiting for me with my school bag in his hands "Let's goo!" He said as he opened the door "Wait I need to leave my mum a note!!" I lent over to grab a pen and a sticky note.

Mum! I'm sorta need to stay at my friends, they have family issues so I'm gonna stay with her so she isn't alone. Phone me once your in please and all explain more. I love you, dad and also squirt.. X x

I stuck the sticky note to the mirror grabbed my keys and headed out locking the dork behind me. We headed into the town "Luke?" I said as we pulled onto the city strip "Yeah??" He said eyes focused on the road "No one answered my question last night?" I said playing with my thumbs "What question?" He said giving me a glimpse "Who are the clan?" I said placing loose hair behind me ear and looking away "Lilly, this isn't the time to explain.. C'mon let's go get milkshakes" Luke stopped the car in a parking lot, in front of a cafe I've never been to before.

I was sitting in Luke's room, still waiting to find out what room is will have for a week. It's weird to think that, well that I'm gonna be staying in a house with vampires "Well it looks like your staying in my room tonight" Luke's said as he stumbled into his room "Great, where will I sleep then, on the sofa" I tapped the sofa that I was sitting on in his room "Nah you can have my bed I will sleep on the sofa" Luke planted himself in front of me "You sure?" I said tilting my head slightly to the left "Yeah, why not" he gave me a smile and looked out the window "Lovely view you have" I said breaking the silence "Yeah, better than all the other places I've stayed!" He said his eyes glued to the view "Places?" I said confused "Yeah, we've moved about a lot, trying to find somewhere we can be accepted, I've lived almost everywhere. I've just turned 118, so think I've been a vampire for 100 years almost, so I've lived in a lot of places" a small chuckle left his mouth "wow a hundred years" I gasped "Yeah" he looked away disappointment was in his eyes. Did I say something?? I hope I haven't offended him or something, he suddenly sprung from his seat and headed for the door "you better get some sleep, it's getting late" he said holding the door for a second then leaving. Yeah I guess it was pretty late but I didn't want to sleep, not now anyways I wanna stay up and find out more from Luke. Maybe even find out what the answer to my god dam question is.
