Chapter 23

Ive been lying here for around 3 hours, watching as my stomach grew bigger appearing a small bump "l-Lauren" I stuttered out "yeah, what's up." She said as she was looking over at the girl lying across the room from me "why has my stomach grown so big in the past few hours, I don't understand.." I said as I poked my stomach "well Lilly, it's complicated with vampires, you see when you are turned into one let's say at the age of 8 years old then you age to be a full vampire till the age of 16 and you look like a fully grown vampire. So babies grow faster, it will be a shorter pregnancy and shorter time period to become fully grown" she said over her shoulder, I nodded.. Even though she wouldn't be able to see, I looked over at the window where hopefully Luke and the rest will try and get us, but the feeling in my stomach was telling me they might not. I sat up slowly grabbing onto my stomach where the pains where growing worse "Lilly don't" Lauren placed a hand on my shoulder lying me back down "Lauren I need to walk!!" I screamed out, the pains running through me started to get worse than before "just stay" she smiled, I nodded, lying back down. After about 10 minutes, we heard a scream. Both me and Lauren jumped from our seats "w-where am I??" The girl had woken "it's okay, your safe" Lauren said as she ran over to her "what happened" she sat up looking around the room "your one of us now, we are so so sorry" Lauren placed a hand on her shoulder "great, please don't tell me I have to be one of them" she signed "you can come with me" I spun my self round to face the girl "w-what you mean?" The girl still couldn't catch onto her words "You can be one of my kind if you'd like, you don't have to go out killing people" I smirked at her "Okay, sounds better I guess" she signed "Didn't catch on, but what's your name?" Lauren asked as she bent down on her knees placing her hand gently on the chair where the girl was sitting "Bonnie.. Your Lauren!" She looked up at Lauren smiling "Yeah.. How do you know that?" Lauren raised an eyebrow "well long story, but you seemed so quiet and nervous when you arrived here.. Now your changing into one of them.." Bonnie looked over at me raising an eyebrow, I shrugged my shoulders signalling 'what' with the movements of my arms. Bonnie looked back up at Lauren "H-how do we get out" Bonnie looked over at me again "Hopefully my boyfriend comes" I looked over at the window then looking down at my stomach rubbing it gently, a few kicks came from inside "It's okay, daddy will save us" I whispered to my stomach, it felt crazy saying that. Knowing that I knew becoming a vampire I wouldn't become a mother but I actually am. Crazy. Seconds later a chap came from the door, Lauren ran over opening it gently, there stood Alisa "Master wants everyone through, you, Lilly, and that girl" she said pointing over at us all "Right well be through shortly" Lauren hissed at Alisa who just smirked back "Right, you have to wear these, especially you Lilly, you need to hide the bump, Bonnie. Play along with me, and Lilly the same. Remember I took use away to make use one of us, so play along or we're all dead" Lauren said as she grabbed three cloaks from a cupboard throwing them over at us. I quickly pulled mine on, as did Bonnie and Lauren, we traipsed through the corridors until we made it to the room.

Calum's p.o.v

Everyone was around me, the look of panic filling there eyes, the words flowing from Luke's mouth made my inside worse, knowing I had to lie "Calum spit it out" Michael looked over at me "She's fine, just we have to go get her.. Now. I have a feeling" I finally spoke out "Calum come over here a minute" Khemce ran over to me taking my arm. "Right I can tell your lying what's up with Lilly" she spat as we reached an area no one else would see "Don't tell anyone, it will make it worse. I don't want anything happening to Luke!" I looked to the ground "I won't, now tell me" she placed her index finger under my chin lifting it up "Lilly, s-she's-" my voice trailed off "Shes what Calum" Khemce said as she raised an eyebrow "pregnant!! How's that possible" I quickly blurted out "That's impossible, your lying" Khemce hissed "I'm not, Lauren told me.. Their in trouble, they'll kill Lilly if they find out!!" I blurted out, Khemce stayed silent for a moment. She looked up at me before walking off. Hopefully she won't speak about this to anyone.
Lilly's p.o.v
As we walked through the hall and into a room, I passed a room, the door wide open, dark and mysterious. I had to take a look, I walked in through the door, flicking on the light as I entered "hello" I said as the lights flickered on "Why are you in here" a voice called from the end of the room "Just being nosey I guess" I shrugged looking over to the figure "Well, please leave.." The figure turned around, the figure was a girl "But.." I looked closer "Meet me here at the end of the gathering, I will help you out!" The girl walked back over to me pushing me out the room, shutting the door as soon as me feet touched the wooden flooring of the hall, my mind was confused, I raised and eyebrow at myself wondering what had just happened "Pssstt Lilly hurry up" Lauren said, placing her head on the wall as her body was around the hall, I laughed at her and shuffled along to catch up. As we entered the hall, everyone was already there "Take your seats" Alexander held his arms out as everyone took their seats Lauren grabbed Bonnie taken her to the seat next to her leaving me standing there "Em where's my seat" I raised an eyebrow at Alexander "Right here" he spun, showing a seat almost as big as his sitting "How thoughtful" I bowed, I walked over taken my seat, to say, it was to big for me "So you have joined" Joshua leant over, I took a moment to think, but then I remember the words Lauren told me before we left the room "Yeah, I'm one of use" I smirked, playing along "Well good, having you around will be fantastic, with such a beauty and power combined, no one can stop us, not even me" Joshua spoke as he stroked my cheek "em just power" i gulped out, almost shaking out "Such fine beauty, you are indeed" he spoke again, placing a strand of my hair behind my ear. "today we gather, for the, well let's say, the truthful joining of Lilly, who has indeed joined us" Alexander spoke as he walked from one end to the other. I could feel Joshua's eyes glued to mine, my heart started racing, the pain in my stomach started growing worse, I grabbed hold of my cloak and holding onto it, my insides started whirling, every inch of my body grew weak, the room went into a haze "Master, I will take her" I heard Lauren's voice calling from beside me "What's with the girl" he hissed "Her powers are growing stronger that's all" Lauren lied "Stronger the better" I heard Alexander hissing at Lauren, the whole room went dark, all I could feel was Lauren and Bonnie running with me in their arms until I felt another pair of arms grabbing me as well "Jess, you know what to do.." Lauren's voice spoke "Yes, place her down!" The voice spoke, the voice sounded familiar. Before I knew, everything went silent, The only thing I could hear was the sound of two heart beats, my own.. And what sounded smaller, my child's. I felt safe, but scared at the same time.
