Chapter 21

Luke's p.o.v

This morning I had this feeling, A feeling where you know something terrible was gong to happen, I looked down at Lilly to see her staring out through the window "Are you okay" I scouted over placing my cheek against hers to see what she was looking at "Yeah, I'm fine" She looked down at her hands that where folded in her lap "Doesn't seem like it" I placed my hand around her waist and reasted it on her stumach "Luke, um" She spun round facing me "Yeah?" I placed my index and middle finger under her chin lifting her head up "Last night well, I saw someone" She looked up at me "Who was it?" I raised an eyebrow at her "Well, I don't know, But they had like a cloak thing on with their hood up, I had to run up the stairs" She slipt out "Babe, I don't think it was anyone, You could off been seeing things, That feeling lying in my stumach from before grew worse "Babe, we aren't going to school today" I spat out "B-but Katie!" Her eyes grew glossy "I will get the rest to watch over her. I promise" I placed a kiss on her forehead then spiining round proping myself up with my elbows "You promise" She looked up at me "Yes, I promise" I looked down at her smiling.

Katie's p.o.v

Lilly and Luke weren't at school today, I started to feel a little scared, not knowing what would happen today, I looked over at the other side of the room to see the group Lilly scared off yesterday, They kept in staring, As I looked down I could feel more eyes on me, I looked over to the back of the room to see, Calum and Michael staring. I decide to get up "Two minutes" I called to Riddle and Sawsan "Where's Lilly and Luke" I spoke as I arrvied in front of them "They aren't feeling to good today, so they didn't come. But don't worry we are here to watch you" Calum's voice flown "Oh, Well come sit with us or something or do something Lilly would do!" I spat out "Okay, calm it" Michael spat as he shuffled along the ground to reach over to where Sawsan and Riddle where sitting "Hey guys!" Sawsan said as she looked up at me confused "Yeah their um.. Sitting with us today" I smiled taking my seat, As I sat down I looked over at the other group to see them staring as the walked away. Thank god they had left.

Lilly's p.o.v

I wasn't feeling to good, I couldn't find strength to move. I felt the exact same way I did before my mind would whizz of and go back into the dream. Don't tell me I'm going to have another, After months from the last one, I was lying alone Luke was down stairs sitting with Ashton, I looked around the room, Everything was so bright, With every blink it grew darker and darker soon it grew dark and my mind was gone.

"Lilly" A voice spoke up "Wh-who are you" I sat up rubbing my eyes "Lauren, P-please t-tell c-calum" The voice stopped "Tell Calum what!" I shouted, The voice didn't reply, I was in a room, it was dark, I couldn't recognise anything.

"Lilly" I heard a chap at the door, I fluttered my eyes open I was back in Luke's room "Yeah?" I proped myself up "Are you okay" Luke called "Yeh" I walked over opening the door he leant against the door "you look shocked" he looked down at me "Is Calum home??" I pushed past him "Yeah, why such a interest in Calum" I spun round to see him staring with a pissed off look "it's nothing personal I just need to talk to him about something" I turned and headed down the stairs. "Calum" I shouted at the bottom of the stairs "In here" his voice called back "Come with me" I took a hold of his arm pulling him out the kitchen and into the garage.

Calum's p.o.v

Lilly randomly came running down the stairs grabbing me and pulling me into the garage. "what is it Lilly" I asked as we finally stopped "Calum does the name Lauren refer to you" she looked over at me, as she spoke the name Lauren my heart dropped, she can't be talking about my Lauren. As you don't know, well Lauren, she was my best friend, since we where 6. She went missing one night and she was never found. She was pronounced dead by a year since she went missing, but I didn't give up hope I didn't believe she was dead so I went out looking for her, and that's when I was bite, and when I awoke I saw her standing in the distance but I knew I was imagining things. "Yes" I looked down at the ground "Calum?" Lilly spoke quietly "Lilly, she's dead" I looked up at her "Calum she isn't!!" Her voice flown through my ears "Lilly she's dead she's been dead for almost a hundred years. She's gone!!" I could feel tears forming "Calum!! Listen, I don't know her, I don't know the relationship use had, but she's in danger!!" Lilly placed her hand on my shoulder "But how do you know this" I cried out "she kind of came into my mind, telling me to tell you something but I didn't hear, she disappeared" Lilly's eyes widened "Well if soo, I have to go find her" I jumped "Calum, that's the thing" Lilly signed "What!!" I shouted "I don't know where she is!!" I looked over at him, his facial expression fading "I will find her" I turned running into the kitchen everyone staring "Calum what's up" ashton asked "Lauren, sh-she's alive" I stuttered "Calum she's been dead for a hundred years" Michael walked over to me "No, no she's not even ask Lilly" I pointed over to Lilly who was standing at the door way "Lilly, did you!" Luke looked over at her "I told him, she came into my mind and-" she was cut off "And what exactly" Luke hissed "she told me to tell Calum" she hissed back "I'm going to find her" I jumped in between them "Calum it's to dangerous" Ellie spoke grabbing me "Ellie I have to, I thought I lost her" a tear falling from my cheek "Babe, she's gone!" She cried back "no she's not" I crumbled breaking down to the floor Ellie grabbing me "Calum, I love you I don't want you to goo, what if something happens to you!!" Ellie cried "I'm going with him" Lilly's voice chirped "W-what" Luke cried "I'm stronger than all of you probably put together I can protect him" she spoke "Lilly no!" He grabbed her "Luke I have to!!" She pecked his cheek I looked up and smiled at her "Well that means we're all going to come!" Khemce said as she walked through the door "B-but cara what about her" I looked over to see cara sitting at the door playing with her dolls "My mum can watch her" Lilly looked over "You sure!" Ellie spoke up before I could "yeah" she smiled "Cara, come her babe" I sat up holding my hands out to cara she ran over "yes cal" she looked up at me in my arms "Your going to stay with Lilly's mum for a while, is that okay" I said playing with her hair "Yeeesss" she giggled "But what will she eat" Lilly asked "She's a young vampire, they can still eat human things, that's why she hardly comes out hunting with us, they are too young for all the things we doo" ashton said "How old is she" Lilly asked "Well before she was bitten she was only 4, so she's 88 years old this year, younger vampires take a while to grow, she looks 9" I laughed.

Lilly's p.o.v

After we dropped off Cara at my aunties house we set off "Where should she be" Calum's asked "well the room was dark, but there was stairs and chairs in front of me" I said trying my best to make out what I saw "That sounds familiar" Ashton spoke "Where do you think" Calum asked "The clan" I shouted out "She can't be" Khemce looked over at Ashton "Only place that's like that" Ashton looked down at the floor "no!" Calum cried Ellie grabbed him "I have a plan" I smiled over, everyone looked up at me "and what's that" Chloe asked. "well you know that they want me, well I will join them like they asked, but I will look for Lauren there, when they aren't looking I will try get cara out and with your guys help we can defeat them all" I looked over at Luke "Lilly that sounds dangerous" Khemce spoke "But it's the only way" ashton said in agreement "Well then, that's what will happen" I smiled "Lilly please don't" Luke grabbed my hand "Luke I have too" I looked over at him, tears started to fill his eyes "Please trust me" I said bubbling up "I do, but I don't want to loss you" a year ran down his cheek "I will make sure you don't" I smiled leaning over giving him a kiss "Promise!" He whispered as we pulled away "I promise".
