RHYDON

For the last week now we have been not only waiting for the Witch council to return our call in meeting with us but have also been more on edge since the attack that occurred with a few of my guys dying and so far, there luckily hasn't been another one on our territory or any reports since then.

To me that is strange. Between from what Lorraine told us about, what I re-read in the book and just the type of attack in general, I don't see why there hasn't been another one yet. Not that I want one to happen but I just think it's strange.

I was in the living room watching TV and trying to relax a little bit for the first time since Gemma was taken to try and get my mind off of everything for a little while. Then that's when there was a knock on the door.

I got up and when I answered it, I saw it was the head Elders of the Witch's Council.

"We got your message." The first one, Griselda says.

"Thank god. Come in." I tell them.

We begin heading straight back towards the office and close the door behind us.

"We haven't heard anything about Gemma yet and to be honest, it's getting embarrassing." The other Elder, her husband,  Zesar. (It's like saying 'Cesar' but with a 'Z').

"We'll discuss that in a minute. I asked for you both to meet me because a few of my guys were killed by some sort of evil type creature or what have you. And I have an idea of what it might be but I need to know as much as I can about it." I began.

They looked at each other for a moment in confusion before looking back at me as we sat across from each other on the sofa's, that are off in the corner of the room by the big window that overlooks the backyard.

"What are you talking about?" Griselda asks me in a serious tone with the look to match.

"You know, the creature that was created centuries ago and used to put fear in the human children as they took them to use as servants and what not. It was in the book that was given to Gemma." I tell them.

"Sorry but..." Zesar began.

I shook my head in disbelief still not knowing what I was talking about.

"Here." I took out the sketch of the creature.

It had webbed wings, 8-pack abs, the same symbol that went from his chest to the bottom of his stomach and was taller and built a little bigger than me. He looked like a werewolf though.

They take the picture and look at it for a moment before looking at each other again and then back at me.

"Whatever you read about it in the book, that's all we know too." Griselda explains but I don't believe her by the hesitance and uncertainty of what she just told me.

I pinch the bridge of my nose trying to calm myself from the irritation in what they are hiding from me. Which is not good if they expect us to have a treaty and be able to have to tell them everything about us also.

"Please don't insult me." I tell them. "I already have lost my mate and am not sure if I'll ever get her back. Then with this on top of it, KNOWING you are the only ones who can help me, there's really no need to hide things from me, especially after this thing killed my men and several other innocent humans." I point out.

"You're right." Zesar begins. "Well, as much as it's true that everything you need to know about it and its creation, is in the book. But there also is the information such as how to kill it that isn't in there." He started.

"Exactly." I reply.

"We have been forced for centuries to keep it a secret. One of our own had created this monster because they weren't happy with the judgement they were placed with after a crime they had made prior to that one. They felt it would be good to punish everyone, including humans because they hoped that we would surrender and allow them to be part of the council. We thought it was at rest. We knew the original one had escaped but, since then we had kept on guard and alert for in case it returned. We had hoped we would have been able to stop it before it did anything but, apparently not." He says.

"So that's why nobody else, including wolves knew about it?" I asked.

"Yes." He replied nodding his head in agreement. "In fact, that's one of the big reasons we created an army of hunters and huntresses." He explains.

"My god." I say under my breath. No disrespect but, is there anything else you all have kept from us?" I asked.

"No." Griselda replies, shaking her head.

"Well, there is one other thing." Zesar says.

"What?" I asked.

"We know who the last of the witch's bloodline that created the creature is."
He hesitates telling me.

"Who?" I asked.

They both take another look at each other worried and then look back at me to tell me.

"It's Gemma." Griselda tells me.

I don't believe them at first and for some sick and twisted reason are just fucking with me but the looks on their faces never change.

"You're not joking are you? But how can that be? If so, how come she never turned before?" I ask them.

"She didn't have that kind of blood in her and her great great great grandmother, Agatha, her sister was the one that created the creature. In which this means, Gemma is the only one that can kill it." She finishes.

Well, this seems to all be a cluster fuck. And seriously, WHAT THE FUCK?!!
