RHYDON

After spending a good amount of time in the bedroom examining Gemma, he comes walking out and tells us all that it's true, she was pregnant. He even knew how far along she was and it was ever since a couple days before I left.

I feel even more guilty than ever seeing as to how I left her when she was pregnant. Sure I didn't know, none of us did but, I still feel guilty.

I then ask the doctor about the fight that's coming up and if there's any way we can help protect her and the baby.

"Although she shouldn't be doing much activity such as that, just in case she was pregnant, I spoke with one of my good friends who practices sorcery and found out she created something that MIGHT be able to help." He begins to explain.

"Great! Did you give it to her already?" I asked relieved.

"I did but Alpha, there are great risks. This serum can have terrible side effects. The kind that can hurt your unborn child or and Gemma. Maybe worse. She still needs to try and be careful." He tells me.

Suddenly I began to panic and worry as I did before.

"Thanks doctor." I tell him and he leaves.

I then take in a breath and walk into the room after telling Lorraine and them that I needed some alone time with Gemma. They of course understood and headed downstairs.

When I walked inside the room, I saw that Gemma was sitting on the edge of the bed, with her back facing me.

"I'm sorry." She says.

I close the door behind me and my heart drops to the bottom of my stomach after she says that cause there's nothing for her to apologize for.

"Baby, there's nothing for you to be sorry about." I start to say while walking over towards the bed and sitting next to her.

"We have that big fight in a few days, how can I concentrate when I know I have another life growing inside of me that I am putting in harms way?! Already, that makes me a bad mother. I mean, what mother in their right mind would do that?" She tears up.

I then take hold of her hand and raise it to my lips as I place a couple gentle kisses on the top of her hand.

"Everything will be okay. And also, earlier tonight you seemed to be thinking about something, what was it?" I asked.

"I was thinking about the last few nights and the dreams I had. They seemed so real, almost like premonitions of the fight. Something is gonna go wrong and I don't know what it is. I'm so scared. What if it's me losing the baby? Or losing you? Or...." She starts rambling but I stop her.

"Baby don't worry. We'll all protect you. Nothing bad is gonna happen." I promise her. "Besides, one if the worst things you can do to hurt that baby is stress. Even if it's not fully developed." I remind her.

She then smiles at me and laughs a little bit.

"You're right. Everything's gonna be okay." She repeats with a smile.

"Of course it will be. Besides, the doctor gave you a serum." I tell her.

"Yeah, he did." She smiles.

"Well, now that all of that is over with, are you hungry?" I ask.

"No. But we should confirm it with the others, even though most of them already know." She mentions.

"Definitely." I smile back at her and we start to kiss before I take her hand again and we make our way downstairs.

The moment we told everyone, including Lorraine, they were all excited and congratulated us then the smiles faded quickly afterwards as Lorraine brought up the fight.

We explained the serum she was given and not to worry and that there will be just extra protection needed for Gemma, but she'd still be able to fight.

After talking a little more with everyone, we all headed off to bed and before we fell asleep I just stared at Gemma as she fell asleep in my arms while I gently rubbed the side of her arm.

I will make sure that nothing ever happens to her or our child. No matter what.
