GEMMA

I can't believe I had done that. It felt like I had killed my friends or family I should say. What exactly did that guy do to me?

Now I was feeling more nervous than ever because Rhydon's sitting next to me and most likely will reject me then throw me back into the basement downstairs and torture me until I gasp my last breath. Or maybe he'll do me a courtesy and just kill me quick.

I was surprised as soon as I felt his hand touch mine and interlace our fingers. I looked up at him confused.

"Listen to me baby. Whatever happened that day and everything else while you were under that asshole's control, is NOT your fault. I know you wouldn't have done anything like that if you were yourself." He tries to assure me.

"Even so, I don't know if I can ever forgive myself. And how could I ever be a Luna if I killed our own?" I ask him.

He turns my head to face him.

"You're gonna be a great Luna to this pack. You're gonna be a badass hot mom to our future kids and I can promise you that nobody thinks bad of you because they all already knew you were under someone else's control. Or at least by now they'll know. Either way, don't worry." He tells me and I can't help but feel so calm and happy when he looks at me and holds my hand the way he does.

"Well I can't lie, I'm gonna have to find a way to convince myself I'm not a monster that someone created." I admit.

"Whatever will help you realize that. Plus, the positive side to all of this is that you can help us take down the creature and to also help us convince the Elders to allow us to do whatever is necessary to take this thing down." He says.

"But how can they believe me? I mean, do they even know I have returned?" I ask him.

"Not yet. All councils believe you are dead." He says the last part under his breath.

"Dead?" I asked in disbelief. "Even the witches council?"

"Yeah. I didn't tell any of them because I was scared to be honest. I didn't know if they would take you away or what they would do. I'm sorry." He tells me as he looks down at the floor feeling bad now.

"It's okay. I would have probably done the same." I tell him. "So I think the first thing we need to do is set up a meeting with all of the councils and not tell them that I am here. Then when I walk in, they'll all be surprised, shocked and even happy, I'm sure and will most likely agree with us to whatever offer we give them." I tell him.

"That's a good idea." He smiles at me.

"I know." I joke and smile.

We both share a little laugh together and then give each other a kiss. I hope I know what I'm saying.
