CHAPTER 36: Help Me

GEMMA

'How could he do this to me?' I ask myself as I feel the burning sensation along with the cracking of my bones after realizing that he injected me with that damn serum that turns me into what he did before.

I'm so scared right now because of the baby. This could kill it and yet I can't stop it.

Once I finally shifted, I felt like I was out of body as I began to notice I was now standing almost seven feet tall and felt my head begin to hurt.

"You are beautiful." I hear Paine's disgusting voice say while standing in the doorway as he's in his human form.

"The time has come. It is time we show all the Elders who their master is." He grins.

I wanted to slash his throat out but I can't as I soon find out when trying to attack him, I feel a sharp electrifying jolt go through my chest and stops me in my tracks.

"What the fuck have you done?!" I asked through mind link.

"Oh don't worry. I'll remove the device when I feel it's needed. For right now, I need to ensure you'll do exactly as I say. After all, you wouldn't want your baby to die, now would you?" He asked with an evil grin.

The next thing I know, we are on our way towards the council and while trying to mind link Rhydon, I also soon discover that I can't. Somehow, Paine has been able to block that from me.

When we arrived at the councils, things seemed to happen so fast. One minute he wants me to stay in the van until it's time to have me brought in by several of his men and the next thing I know, I'm slashing throats and killing several council members from all councils as well as Elders.

Then right as I finish with the Elder from the vampire council, I turn and lock eyes with Rhydon. Right as I begin thinking of him, I am suddenly zapped again by Paine's fucking device he put in me from him using it through his mind and now all I see is red and that I need to kill Rhydon.

Quickly I begin sprinting towards him ready to take him down and I see him coming towards me as we nearly clash into each other.

He grabs onto me as I do the same with him and I start throwing my razor sharp claws towards him but he misses them. He next tries doing the same with me as we continue going at one another while everybody else continues fighting as well.

We growl, throw each other all over a few rooms, breaking things, practically going at one another's throats.

This whole thing though is bullshit. In the back of my mind, I am really crying and trying to mind link for him to stop before we kill each other but again, I still can't.

I'm so scared right now. Mostly for the sake of our own child.

I guess I got real distracted as I hadn't noticed until I felt the full impact of the wall I just went through from him tossing me so hard, that I am badly hurt.

"GEMMA!" I heard a loud deep voice say through mind link. And I knew whose it was.

I look up at Rhydon.

"Help me." I start to cry through mind link.

"Baby? Is that really you?" He asks me through mind link.

"Yes. I'm sorry. Paine has me...." Then right before I could finish telling Rhydon, I notice him being lifted into the air and tossed through the glass window out onto the lawn.

I glared at Paine and right as I started to get up and sprint towards him, I was stopped as he snapped his head over towards me and with his mind, threw me harshly in the air and hard through the wall to not just the room we were in at the moment but also, two others after that before he jumped out of the window to continue hurting Rhydon.

Sorry it's been a couple of days since I last posted, things have been so crazy here at where I'm at and have had to deal with some things. But that's why I'm writing two chapters for each story tonight and then will be back on track tomorrow (Thursday). So the next chapter for this will be posted soon! :):)
