GEMMA
While the days went on after our first practice with all of us, we seemed to be more than ready as there were only a few days left now until the big fight.
Although for a couple of nights I've been having dreams that are more like a premonition of the fight. It was for sure a sign that something wasn't gonna go as planned of some sort.
After we finished the training, we headed back to my castle for us all to relax a little while resting up.
I hadn't realized I was dazing away until I heard Alpha Rhydon shake my arm a little bit.
It had startled me and when I looked at him, he had a concerned and worried look on his face.
"What?" I asked him.
"What's with you?" He asks.
"Nothing." I tell him. "I'm fine." I try to reassure him with a smile and then all-of-a-sudden, Lorraine comes walking into the living room along with Corwin, carrying sodas, beers, wings and pizzas.
I get up real quick and hear Rhydon right beside me say, "Tell me later."
I don't say anything back except smile and nod.
Next, I grab one of the order of wings box and one large pizza I ordered for myself and go sit down on the floor in the living room and start eating.
"Babe, you want something to drink to wash all of that down with?" Rhydon teases.
"Yes please." I say with my mouth full. "Some sprite."
Everybody's looking at me as they grab their food and join me in the living room.
"Babe, are you feeling alright?" Rhydon asks as he sits next to me with several slices of pizza while handing me my drink.
"Yeah. Just starving." I tell him with wings sauce all over my mouth.
"Are you sure you have nothing to tell me?" He asks.
"Yes." I replied feeling irritated with all the questions. "What's the matter hun?" I ask him.
"Well, you have been eating more than usual." Lorraine begins to mention.
"Yeah, so?" I replay.
"Don't you think that maybe, you might be preggers?" She suggests.
I look at all of them looking at me, waiting for an answer. So I start to laugh.
"Shut up Lorraine. I couldn't be." I tell her.
"I'm just saying. You seemed to have started showing signs a couple of days before you and Rhydon got into a fight." She states.
"Well I'm not. I mean, I don't have morning sickness, so...." I tell her.
"That doesn't always mean you're pregnant. Some don't get morning sickness." She laughs a little. "Besides, you probably have other signs you just never noticed because you haven't had time to relax entirely.
I suddenly stop eating and swallow the last bite before I begin cleaning my mouth and hands off.
I couldn't be pregnant. Not right now at least. The big fight is in JUST a few days away.
"Call the pack doctor, we need to know." I tell them and get up to quickly head up to the room and get myself calmed and ready for the doctor to examine me.
"Baby?" I hear Rhydon call out from the top of the stairs before he runs into our bedroom.
"I can't be pregnant." I start to tear up. "What will we do?"
"We'll love him or her. I know there's the big fight coming up but, maybe we can think of something to protect you and our child." He suggests.
"I love you." I smile and walk up to him and snake my arms around his neck as he does with his around my waist and we hold each other for a few moments.
"I love you too." He smiles and kisses me.
Lorraine then comes up and tells us the doctor is on their way.
I hope that things really do work out and the doctor, determines if rather or not for sure I'm pregnant.......
