"Mom!" I said, running into her arms; but I couldn't touch her; my hands just went right through her. "Mom, how are you here?" I asked in shock. "I am not here, sweetheart; it's just my reflection," she replied. "Mom," Melissa said with tears in her eyes as she tried to hug her. "I'm sorry, honey—for everything. I had no choice but to separate you three; it was for your own safety," she said.

"Mom, can you tell us who our third sister is?" I asked. "You just vanquished her," she replied with tears in her eyes. "What, she's my sister?" I asked, shocked. "Yes, she is," Mom replied, making me feel like the worst person on Earth. "But how, how is she dark when you separated us to stop that from happening?" I asked, trying to wrap my head around what I just heard.

"I did as I was told, but things didn't work out as planned," she replied. "Well, as you were able to inform us now, why didn't you inform us of this earlier?" I asked. "I was unable to make contact as my soul was stolen by the soul seeker, whom you just destroyed," she said.

"Wait, when did this happen?" I asked. "When I was murdered and my soul was leaving my body, the Woldermonster summoned the soul seeker and it consumed my soul," she replied. "So, then, did we release your soul?" I asked. "Yes, you did, and I am thankful; but you need to release your sister," she said. "But how? Also, she is trying to destroy us," I said. "You need to make her see the facts; I'll help," she said. "That's great, but do you know how we are supposed to get her back?" I asked. "We need a strong spell," she said.

"Hi, sis," Mom said, looking at Aunt Cassie who just stood there dumbfounded. "Hi, sis... I'm sorry," Aunt Cassie said with tears in her eyes. "Sorry for what?" I asked. "Well, Octavia...I am to blame for what happened to your mother," she replied. "What do you mean?" I asked confused. "You know the Woldermonster that killed your mother; that was me," she replied.

"What, how is that possible?" I asked, even more confused. "I was jealous of your mother because she always outshone me, so I tried to use a spell to make me into a more powerful witch. It backfired, changing me into a Woldermonster," she replied with regret. "What? But why did you kill my mom?" I yelled. "I lost control; my dark emotions took hold and made me kill your mother," she replied as she couldn't fight the tears anymore. "And you kept this from me all these years, pretending to be the good sister and good aunt?" I shouted enraged.

"I am so sorry, Octavia. I wish I could take it all back, but I can't; all I can do now is help you get your sister back," she replied. "No, I don't need your help! You need to leave before I vanquish you too!" I screamed. "Honey, please don't be mad at your aunt; it's not her fault," Mom said."I'm sorry, but everything that happened was her fault and I can't forgive her! So don't try to make me!" I said.

"It's OK, sis; she isn't wrong," Aunt Cassie said as she turned to leave. "Well, you should help even if I don't forgive you, "I said. "I will, if you let me," Aunt Cassie said, turning back. We went back home to find a spell to bring my sister back. While going through grimoire, Melissa looked at Aunt Cassie and asked, "How did you change back from the Woldermonster?"

"I had help; your uncle Jack helped me," she said. "But he has no powers," I said. "He did then as he was my advisor," she replied. "You slept with your advisor? Wasn't that breaking the Magic Code?" I asked. "It was, and that's why he was stripped of his powers and turned into a mortal," She replied. "So, his powers were stripped but not yours?" I asked. "Yes, since advisors are upgraded from mortals to immortals and we are just witches. He broke the code, not me; because I didn't know about the Code in the first place," she said. "So, if you did know, what would've happened?" Melissa asked. "I don't know," she said. "Enough about the past; let's see about a way to get your sister back," Mom said.

We went through the grimoire and then it hit me: "Mom, how about we use the vanquishing spell in reverse?" I asked. "That might work," Mom said. We changed the vanquishing spell into a rescue spell. We were teleported back to the hidden forest by Christen and Brian and there, we stood near the spot we vanquished my sister and recited the rescue spell with her name.

As we continued to chant, I could see my sister appear. She was floating up trying to get away from the Dexriaus monsters when I put my hand down at her and said, "Take my hand, sis; we are here to rescue you."

She looked at me confused and said, "Sis?" as she grabbed my hand and pulled me down. "No!" I heard Mom and the rest scream as I was pulled in to the abyss.
