"What was that asked?" Jared asked, rushing in.
"It's nothing. Just a horror movie I was watching," I replied, hoping he would believe me.
"Oh, is that so?" he said.
"Yes," I said, "You should get back to work; you're running late."
"Yes, you're right. Alright then, take care," he said as he left.
I rushed down to the cellar and chanted a mute spell on the creature. I then went upstairs, got ready, and marked down the spell to revive Melissa before going to see her.
I felt sad seeing Melissa lying in a coma. I asked the doctor if there had been any changes, but she said no. I got Melissa changed to a separate room so I could perform the spell with no interruptions. I locked the door and chanted the revival spell, but it was to no avail; I continued it several times, but there was no change.
"Maybe I need a stronger spell," I said to myself. It was then that my phone rang. It was Jared. "Are you going to visit Melissa today?" he asked. "I'm already at the hospital," I answered. "Okay, just wanted to know if you needed a ride," he said, hanging up. I chanted the spell a couple more times, but yet again, it was for nought. And so I left.
As I reached my front door, I noticed that something was wrong. I grabbed the handle without using the key, and the door opened. I walked in ready to cast a spell on anyone or anything but saw nothing around. I hurried to the cellar to find it empty to my astonishment.
'How is this possible?' I said to myself, picking up the chains that restrained the Juangrand. As I stood there wondering what happened, it struck me; Melissa could be in danger now that the Juangrand is loose. As I rushed to the door to go back to the hospital, my phone rang. It was from the hospital.
"Melissa Pereira is missing," said Doctor Eva Gomez.
"What do you mean she's missing? How can someone in a coma go missing!" I asked furiously.
"I don't understand this myself," Doctor Gomez replied, "No patient has ever disappeared from this hospital before. She said she had informed the authorities.
As I hung up, the phone rang yet again. This time it was Jared with the news of Melisa's disappearance. I told him that I already heard about it and that I was on my way to the hospital. "I'll meet you there," he said, hanging up. I then opened the door only to be thunderstruck.
