'What do I do now that I am unable to even move? Brian and Melissa are in the same dilemma as me, so who can help us?' I asked myself, only to realize I had just one option left. 'Christen is the only one who can help us now, but will he, especially after what I put him through? ' I asked myself; 'I know I didn't mean to, and so does he; yet the fact remains that I put him through hell and I don't know if he would ever be able to forgive me.'
'But I am desperate, so that's exactly what I need to do,' I said to myself. "Christen help us. Aunt Cassie has been taken over by evil and Brian is unable to help. So please, if you can hear me, help," I whispered, not knowing whether he would show up or not.
"Dreamalzez heroogandez;" came a voice from behind Aunt Cassie, sending her flying. I looked ahead to see Christen as I fell to the floor with Melissa and Brian. I ran to Christen to hug him, but stopped as I wasn't sure if he was ready to be hugged by me. He looked at me and put his hands out, realizing my dilemma. I hugged him as tears filled my eyes, realizing he wasn't mad at me anymore.
"Don't worry, Octavia; I am here," he said. Right then Brian chanted the same spell, making us turn around. It was Aunt Cassie and she was coming at us. We all chanted together, sending her to the floor; after which we chanted a spell, forcing her into a state of deep sleep. Afterwards, we chanted the Recovery Spell. We chanted for a while, but it didn't seem to work as we didn't notice a spirit appear. "The soul seeker has gone back to its master," I said. "Who is that?" Melissa asked. "The dark witch; we have to go in search of her or my aunt will be lost forever," I said, to which they all agreed.
"The dark witch is very powerful, so we need all the help we can get," I said looking at Christen. "I know, Octavia; I will help you," Christen said, bringing out a sigh of relief from me. "Well, let's see about a powerful spell," I said to Melissa. "Okay," she said as we went to get the grimoire. "This time, I'm going to finish her off," I said to myself, enraged at what had come to pass.
We went through the grimoire and found a vanquishing spell; not satisfied, I went through the whole book. I took a collective of vanquishing spells and merged them together in hopes of making a super powerful vanquishing spell. I couldn't take any more chances—not when my aunt's life was at risk—well, soul, to be precise. "What are you doing?" Melissa asked, confused at what I was writing down. "I am making a much more potent vanquishing spell to defeat that evil witch to the world of Geraeresmandezal," I said.
"What is that?" she asked, confused yet again. I explained to her that it was a world where dark souls were vanquished to for eternity. "Wow, there is so much I don't know, and I need to learn these things fast so I can help you get Aunt Cassie back," she said. After making of the super spell, I made a potion as well, just in case we needed it. I asked Melissa to study the spell well as I needed her help to vanquish the witch and her soul seeker and to get back Aunt Cassie's soul.
After around an hour of studying the spell, Melissa had memorized it; so we went to Christen and Brian and told them that we were ready. Not having time to waste, Christen and Brian teleported us, including Aunt Cassie (who was still in deep sleep), to the hidden forest. When we arrived at the witch's lair, she was waiting with the expectation of our arrival. She chanted a spell, throwing us against the wall. She kept on chanting, not allowing us to get to our feet, but we managed to start chanting our spell and, as we did, she started to shake as if she was possessed.
We continued to chant as the soul seeker appeared and started shaking as well before it burst in a flash of light, releasing the souls it had consumed. I noticed Aunt Cassie's soul go back into her as we continued the spell. She woke up and asked what happened and why we were in the dark forest again. "Let's catch up later, Aunt Cassie; just join in on the spell!" I said, handing her the paper containing the super spell. She took the paper and stared at it, asking "What the hell kind of spell is this?"
"A super spell, Aunt Cassie; please keep up!" I said as the witch tried to break away. The three of us chanted continuously and, as we did, we could see the ground below her open. As she was getting swept away into the dark abyss, she screamed "I will be back, and you wretches will all pay!" as the floor closed up once again. Right then I heard a voice shout, "No, what have you done?"
We turned around, shocked to witness who was standing in front of us.
