As I was being pulled down by my dark sister, I felt somebody pulling at my legs. I fell on the floor with Aunt Cassie and Melissa while the ground before me closed with my dark sister in it.

"Thank goodness you're alright," Aunt Cassie said, hugging me while Melissa cried, "I thought I lost you for a minute."

"Thanks for saving me, but our sister is still there, and she hates me," I said. "She hates us all, but I am sure she will forgive us," Aunt Cassie said. "I hope so," I said, feeling sad that I couldn't save her.

We tried to open the portal again, but it didn't work. "Why isn't this working anymore?" I asked, frustrated. "Maybe the Lord of Geraeresmandezal is preventing it from being opened," Christen said. "What; is that possible; and why?" I asked. "Because it's very powerful and it doesn't let anything out once it gets in," Christen said. "Then how do I get my sister out?" I asked.

"We'll need a more powerful spell," Aunt Cassie said. "But we used a very powerful spell and that doesn't seem to work anymore. I don't know what else we can do," I said, walking out. They followed me out and Mom said, "Maybe there is a way."

"What way?" I asked. "I have been down there when I was trapped in the soul seeker's body, so maybe you could use me to open the door and get your sister out," she said. "No, we can't do that. You will end up trapped in that world and I am not going to let that happen," I said with determination.

We went back home in silence, but when I looked at Mom, I could feel that she really wanted to do this. 'She is a mother and she feels it be her responsibility to take care of her kids,' I said to myself, remembering how it hurt Mom more than me whenever I got hurt. I know that if we don't find a strong enough spell, I won't be able to stop her from sacrificing herself for my sister as she would do the same for Melissa or me.

We all went through the grimoire in order to find a stronger spell. When we did find one, we infused it into the existing spell and also made a strong potion, to which we added the remaining blood of my sister's which we used to treat Melissa and Charlie. We also added Melissa's and my blood to it and chanted a Sisterhood Spell, making the potion even stronger.

As it was late and we were tired, we rested until morning. When I woke up, I found Mom missing—and so were the spell and potion. "Mom has left, and she has taken the spell and the potion with her," I shouted, waking up everyone. They all came down rushing and Aunt Cassie asked, "She did what?"

I then called out to Christen and Brian. "You know you can't have two advisors, don't you?" Christen asked smiling. "Mom has left with the spell and the potion," I said, fearing the worst. "Really? Then we should hurry," Christen said as he and Brian teleported us to the Hidden Forest. At our arrival, I saw Mom standing over open ground. "Mom!" I shouted, to which she said, "I love you girls" and jumped into the chasm.

"Mom!" Melissa and I screamed as we tried to grab her hand, but our hands went right through her. And as she went down, my sister floated up to the surface. I grabbed her hand and pulled her up as my mom floated down and the ground beneath us closed up, separating us yet again.
