This chapter I didn't want to divide up, but I figured it'd be easier to read on here if it was. It is one of my favorite and most quotable chapters, so I hope you enjoy it ;)

Mason's POV:
"Are you going to ignore her the rest of the night, Vitali?" Alban's voice radiated more amazement and disbelief than I thought would be possible.
"What's the point of watching her? She won't listen to reason from me anyway." I shrugged staring down at my phone, checking on tomorrow's shipments.
"Oh I do not know, maybe the fact that her Irish friend seems to be giving her the time of her life." Alban's gaze hadn't left the dance floor.
Following his gaze, I found the woman and one of her soldier's dancing. My eyes narrowed before I could stop them. The man had his hand on her waist.
That little fucker.
It wasn't even her waist that he had his hand on; it was far lower. She was smiling at him; a smile that she'd only given me. A smile of recognizable familiarity. Her hands laced around his neck, holding on as he led her around the dance floor, smoothly avoiding others doing the same.
"Make her dance with you." Alban urged, pausing as if evaluating the situation. A devious look entered his dark eyes. "Or I will."
My brows furrowed at his words. "She's too spirited for you to waste your time."
"Eh, you might be right. I am much too drunk to chase after a challenge. Those girls over there would be much easier to take to bed. They have been batting their long, luscious lashes at me all evening. Maybe I can convince more than one to accompany me back to my room this fine night."
Glancing back at him, I shook my head. "You're a man whore, you know that right?"
"I am a man that enjoys his women. I am not ashamed to admit that." He leaned back against the bar counter, refusing to move his gaze from the chatting women on the edge of the room. An occasional gaze warranted a whisper and a giggle, further goading Alban's desires on. "I also am a man that knows when a woman wants me."
I rolled my eyes at his waggling brows. He was more of a pest then I had realized. A man deprived of that frat boy lifestyle that was too loose for the job he held and the role he kept.
"Looks like someone else knows what he wants." I followed his gaze back to Harper and the man she was dancing with. He was leading her away from the throng of people, toward the hallway of rooms.
Swallowing, I watched them begin to disappear.
Hell no.
A raging fire spurred through my soul. I planted my feet in place, but even that didn't keep them from finding the way they knew I needed to go.
My heartbeat frantically pulsed through me as I pushed away from the countertop. I wasn't going to let that man get the opportunity of finding his way on top of her. Or worse, the opposite.
She was mine. Even if I didn't deserve her, if anyone was getting her tonight, it was going to be me. Not some half-wit Irish lad that had no business being with her.
The hallway seemed uncomfortably tight and long as I stumbled down it. Too many drinks weren't doing me any favors. I wanted to bash the sucker's face in that thought he was good enough for my Harper. It didn't matter how angry I was with her not telling me the truth, but I wasn't going to let her make some drunk mistake. If she was going to have a drunk mistake it would be with me. In an environment that I could control. I wanted her to stay safe. I didn't want her to have regrets.
Making my way around the unbelievably distant corner, I saw them. His hands holding hers above her head. Their bodies unbelievably close. Too unbelievably fucking close. His lips were finding their way down her neck. They were still a few steps away, but I could see her body quiver in excitement.
My nostril twitched in a jealous rage. I couldn't find my right mind. It was gone, along with any sanity that should have restrained me. My feet stomped toward them, an unavoidable fury stripping away my calmness. I didn't breathe a word, simply reached for the mister pawing away at my vixen.
I didn't remember pulling my fist back, but the bone and flesh connecting with the forbidden kisser would leave a painful bruise for me in the morning. The tall, tattooed Irish lad grabbed his jaw, blinking in confusion as his lust diminished. If I didn't know any better I would have thought I saw a half smile appear and disappear just as quickly.
"Mason!" I ignored Harper's angry growl. I didn't care if she was killing me with her eyes right now; I had other fish to fry.
"Get out of here. Now!" I took a menacing step forward toward the brute. I knew he was packing heat, but I didn't give a rat's ass. He wasn't going to touch Harper like that again.
Harper's small nod was the only thing to get the man to move. I didn't blame him; she had the power to drop anyone to their knees. A redheaded beauty that I wasn't about to give up.
I was surprised at the man's obedience and lack of words for me. I waited a moment, waiting for the thug to disappear from sight.
"What if I was having a good..." Her words were drowned out as my lips crashed into hers. A fire ready to spark and ignite. I could feel the dampness of her lipstick. Taste the minty freshness of her mouth. Feel the warmth of her tongue. I'd expected some hesitation, but she didn't give it. She welcomed my forwardness.
Pulling back for a breath, I felt her fingers on my jaw as she dragged me back to her lips, forcing me to comply. Her body felt good under my strong grip. Her soft skin teased my rough fingertips. We were perfect.
"I've been waiting all night for you." Her words teased my lips as her tongue found its way into my mouth. Her fingers teased my hair as I hiked her hips up to my own. My body was going crazy, ready to ravish her to pieces. I would make her come for me and I would make her scream my name all night.
"My room is unlocked." She breathed into my ear as her tongue teased my lobe.
"How are you even talking right now?" I could barely scavenge for the right words. I still didn't know why I was even wasting my breath on them. All my energy needed to go to her. She deserved my undivided attention. Things would change tomorrow. It was inevitable, but tonight I wanted to forget about everything. I wanted to forget who we were and what we were. Tonight I wanted us to be perfect.
"I personally would like to hear more talking from the two of you." I felt cool metal brushing against the back of my neck before I heard the words stiffening my back. My eyes met Harper's wide ones. Her legs slipped from my waist, my hands gently lowering her to the ground.
