Harper's POV:

I stared at the women seated in front of me. I hadn't felt a need to have either tied up. They both looked equally terrified, staring at me with wide eyes and shaking hands.

"Can I offer either of you something to drink? Some water perhaps?" I leaned forward in my own folding chair, elbows on my knees and a fist under my chin.

They both twitched before slowly shaking their heads. One was a brunette not much older than me with green eyes much darker than mine. The other was a blonde with eyes that looked both green and gray in different lighting and angles.

"Okay. That's fine." I said simply, sitting back in my chair. I popped a leg over the other and stared at them each for a moment. "I brought you here for several reasons. Honestly, I'm going to be frank and get straight to the point. Ricci took two very important men of mine and I want them back. He seems to think it's all right to mess with me, but when it comes down to it..."

Pausing, I locked eyes with the women, my voice taking on a chilly undertone. "I will win in the end."

"I don't understand how we fit into this?" The brunette all ready had tears filling her eyes, her voice shaky.

"She's going to make an example out of us." The blonde glared at the other woman, her voice unusually strong for the situation at hand. She pinned me with the glare next. "Isn't that right?"

Shrugging, I stood up. "I could make this easy for you. Or hard. It all depends on you."

"You're all the same. Taking advantage of the innocent in order to appease some sick satisfaction from hurting us. It's sickening!" The blonde looked away, spite radiating from the shadows overcasting her eyes.

Ignoring her, I focused on the other woman. "I need to know where Ricci would keep my people."

"I...I don't... know..." The brunette blubbered out, the tears all ready dripping down her face.

"Shut up, Stasia!" The blonde responded sharply.

My gaze flickered over. Walking to her, I snatched her chin between my gloved thumb and pointer finger. Sliding her face from side to side I eyed her up, watching the anger seeping from her harshening features. "If that's Anastasia, then you must be Alessandra. Or do you prefer Sandra?"

Spitting at me, she tried to tug free of my tightening grip.

Digging my nails into her flesh, I forced her still. "Will you talk or do I need to apply some motivation?"

"I won't talk to you, you pig!" She snapped, her eyes narrowing.

Releasing her chin, I stood up straighter. Letting out a deep breath, I eyed both women up. Disappointment saddened my eyes. Glancing up at Padrik and Eoin, I nodded to the women. "Tie them up."

"We don't know anything!" Stasia tried to squirm free, quick to try to appease me with her desperation.

"Until I know what I want to know, you both will be here for a very long time." I gave them each a hard look. Twisting back to the door, I made eye contact with Samual. His family had been an important family to my father and he had been quick to follow in their footsteps. He was a valued asset to me. "Bring in the Veiled Death."

Nodding, he stepped out.

"What... what is the Veiled Death?" Stasia's wide eyes met mine once again.

"Not what. Whom." I kept my lips tight. "Do either of you have my answer?"

"Go to hell!" Sandra's lip curled up with her obvious hatred.
