War drums beat as smoke rose from the west.

The sun was starting to rise, painting the sky with shades of pale orange and pink. However, the land beneath it looked as if it had been touched by the morning star's glory while already seating in its throne in the sky, glowing like red hot embers as if the valley had been sparked with fire. But, standing on the edge of a cliff, one would know that the color of the earth was not because of the sun. It was caused by darkness, an evil both known and unknown that had come like a late summer storm and now it was sweeping the entire Kingdom.

The entire army surged forward, hollering with collective violence, powerful enough to make the ground tremble. Fifty-thousand men brandished their weapons as they screamed their war cries, all of them vying for glory.

The opposing army also charged at full speed, attacking with their big, black cleavers and hammers.

Five thousand bronze-tipped arrows soared into the air, a deadly swarm of hornets rose toward the clouds before descending on the charging enemies.

Hundreds fall.

The archers let loose another swarm of arrows that fall with a loud hiss.

The enemy, so overwhelming seconds ago, began to disperse in chaos.

"Get them in line, NOW!", one of the captains ordered the horsemen with spears.

One day, the High Priestess dreamt of a Sun and Moon giving the Rebirth Stone back to the Kingdom's hands.

With haste, she conveyed her dream to the King, Quila, and her knowledge about who the Moon in her dreams is; Cai, the King's daughter, who is a mage like her mother.

"And, the Sun? Do we know him?"

"No, Your Majesty. He is from the lower class. But I have seen that he has the spirit of a ruler."

"We need to find him, then, so we can get the Stone back! The land is dying and soon everyone in it will die too!", one of the King's Advisers declared.

The High Priestess nodded at this. "I must let all of you here know though that he was the thief the Princess accused of stealing her necklace the other day."

Princess Cai, who had just been listening initially to the conversation gasped. "That man?! High Priestess you must be mistaken! How can he be destined to save our kingdom?! That is too far-fetched."
