I had this idea running and turning in my head for days before I decided to talk to any one about it.
I am, first and foremost, a reader rather than a writer and I have always loved being able to share stories and share writers whose works have touched me. I love it when friends do the same. Exchanges such as this grow my imagination and in fandoms, it keeps the fire burning.
So, technically, this project is a dream - to showcase the burgeoning talent of individuals who some of us might have skipped over, to allow more of us to discover new and wonderful tales and wordsmiths, to keep our community connected and alive.
I believe I have not been remiss in saying how lucky I am to have friends, Kei ( tigermoonbuddy ) and Toni ( toniclomera ), who get just as excited about these things and who just said they'll do the project with me when I talked about it. A million thank yous, you two. I won't ever tire of saying it.
And as I have said, I am proud of how you two are the best embodiment of what we wanted to achieve for this project. Your stories blew my mind.
