On the third day of the five day countdown, the two have already mastered the art of fake sleeping. Or at least both of them likes to think they both did.

Jack knows Elsa wasn't truly asleep yet though she tries to create light fake snoring. Elsa knows that Jack knows that. Sometimes there are just obvious things you don't want to point out because you'll get called out for doing the same thing.

He knows that once he says it she'll have confirmation that he was also awake and fake sleeping. But that was besides the point. Despite being sleep deprived they still go on with the activities they planned.

Though this day, their plans were once again halted.

In the middle of their breakfast (which is more of a lunch now because it was already late), a knock was heard. The moment Elsa opened the door she could felt her breathing stop for a millisecond as her hand gripped on the knob.

"Morning you two." The prince smiles weakly.

"Hiccup, what a surprise." Elsa said after regaining her consciousness. "Come in, join us for breakfast." She offered to which Hiccup kindly declined saying he already ate before going on the road.

"I'll just wait here till you two are done." He said.

"Oh come on, don't you miss the food here?" Jack asked. "Elsa and I cooked it."

"Mostly me, but sure." Elsa pointed out.

"Hey, let me share some of the moment." Jack joked.

Hiccup laughed. "I'm surprised you don't want to have it all for yourself Jack, it is Elsa's cooking afterall." Hiccup teased.

"I'm not that gluttonous." Jack said.

"Well, you're not wrong though. The food in the castle is delicious but nothing beats home cooked meal from here." Hiccup said finally giving in.

While the three shared a meal they went to a little trip down memory lane. They recalled the times when all four of them - Elsa, Jack, Hiccup and Thia - would be doing all sorts of things that commoners would normally do but the two royals with them would enjoy it so much because they don't experience it that much.

It was those memories where they felt truly free even though they were doing more work that required more energy.

Both Jack and Hiccup would sometimes sense Elsa tear up a bit when recalling those memories but refrain herself from doing so. Whenever they see that they would change the topic, otherwise they'd start feeling the same.

After the meal they proceeded to washing the dishes. It was a one-man job but all three of them helped out as if there were piles of dishes to wash. Because of the extra hands, the work was done in no time.

They went to the living room, Jack and Elsa sitting beside each other on the settee and Hiccup sitting across them.

"So, about why I came here." Hiccup started out. "I have news." He said, his eyes met Elsa who then turned to Jack. Hiccup's eyes shifted to their interlocked hands then looked up once more to look at Elsa and Jack's faces.

When Hiccup and Elsa's eyes met he began motioning to Jack, as if he was asking something. "It's okay. He knows." Elsa assured before giving Jack's hand a squeeze.

Hiccup sighed. It's good to know that Elsa managed to tell him, is what was in his mind. He'd rather not know how or what happened after telling him because he might end up feeling worst than he does.

"Okay." Hiccup said before taking another deep breath. "I don't know how to start but what I can say is that I told myself that whether it be a good news or bad news I wanted to tell it to you both personally."
