Chapter 9~Intruder

I was asleep until I felt Nightmare shaking me to the point I got dizzy and fell she gave me a concerned look.

"he told you about Alex didn't he" she say with a sigh.

I nodded.

"but he didn't tell me how they died" I added.

"let's go talk in the lounge".

We walked toward's the lounge and sat on the sofa.

"it happened this year Alex went on a mission to spy on some guy's that were plotting to steal from multiple jewelry stores, banks, and some information from the pentagon but as they collected the data. they tried to leave but slipped and fell which made a lot of noise and when..."

She stopped for a moment.

"they found them laying there and shot them many time's in the chest after it was over. Ivan was the one that found them and when he saw that Alex was dead he couldn't live with himself but he couldn't...you know".

I didn't know what to say but I sat there fidgeting with my fingers but what could I say. She sighed and got up.

"that's why you don't love anybody especially in this type of business".

She walked away without looking back. I sat there thinking.

"I know that already" I whispered.

Nightmare stops "good," she says and continues walking.

I sighed and got up I didn't have any classes today but I didn't want to stay home so I started practicing my aiming and shooting until I heard a loud ringing which scared me I looked around to see what was going on and people started running I didn't know what to do so I just stood there while people were running. I should be running but I froze.

I wanted to move but I wondered what was going on until I felt someone picking me up and running I looked and saw it was Ivan.

"WHAT'S GOING ON" I shouted.

Ivan didn't say anything until we got to the safe room and everyone was in it.

"Someone just hacked and enter the building and remember what we do isn't legal," he says quietly.

"If we ever were discovered we would all be arrested".

I thought this was legal?? what the hell did my parent's sign me up for??. I looked around trying to find Royal, Nightmare, Killswitch, or at least Bloodrose but they were no were to be found.

"where's Nightmare, Bloodrose, Royal, and Killswitch?" I asked.

"who do you think is fighting the intruder's..they are the most skilled agent's here and I'm sure they will win," he says but with a sound of worry in his voice.

After a minute I heard yelling and the sounds of knives falling to the ground and screams of agony. I covered my ears. I hate hearing the screaming. After about twenty minutes we heard the door unlocking and it was Bloodrose she was covered in blood and wasn't it her's.

She grabbed a handkerchief and it had a rose on it and she wiped her hands on it.

"Ivan it's done they all were killed," she said with a hint of tiredness in her voice.

"excellent Dig and Wild clear the bodies and Black leopard and Juniper destroy every single piece of evidence".

They nodded and went off to go do what they were assigned. As people were leaving I saw two bodies and they both had at least one rose covered in their blood so I knew who killed them.
