Chapter 43~Nice to meet you I guess..

I sighed and went back to Ivan's room where he was still passed out and I laid my head on his bed. I'm tired of all this...I flinched as I felt someone hug me and at first, I thought it was Bloodrose but when I looked up it was Ivan.

"I know it's okay to cry," he says softly.

Which made me start crying you know when you're trying not to cry and someone asks you if your okay and that makes you cry even more that's what I'm feeling right now. Ivan pats my head.

"I don't know what's going on anymore he would never act like this.." Ivan mumbled.

Ivan tried to get up but fails to do so.

"Stop you need to rest your gonna hurt yourself even more," I said making him lie down.

"I'm a grown man I don't feel any pain-"

Ivan immediately fell right back into his bed while mumbling curse words under his breath.

"Where is he now?" Ivan asks while out of breath.

"Uh I don't know Ashley tackled him to the ground and I left before I could see what they did to him".

Before Ivan could say anything we hear a bunch of footsteps running and we both turned to see a lot of nurses and doctors running so I go see what's going and they were rushing towards Ace's room.

"Oh no," I said quietly.

"What's going on?" Ivan asked worriedly

"I uh I'm gonna be right back"

I ran to Ace's room and I saw them moving in their bed it looked like they was having a seizure then I started to panic. Elvina turned to look at me and said.

"It's okay we will try to save him," she says quietly.

"They..." I mumbled.

She nodded then they took Ace's bed and rushed them out of the room.

" I NEED AN OR AND I NEED THEIR HEAD CT" Elvina yelled.

I stood there as I watched them strolling Ace away while wondering how am I gonna tell Ivan. I shook my head then I felt someone's hand on my shoulder I looked up to see Killswitch.

"Where's Ash??" I asked curiously.

"Sedated they had to calm her down and your dad is in our van he's also sedated so he won't be awake for a few hours".

I looked down and Killswitch noticed so she tried to hug me but it was an awkward hug but it was a hug and that's all I wanted.

"Wait what happened before I came over here and where's Ace" Killswitch asked concerned.

"They took them because they was having a seizure," I said with tears in my eyes.

"How am I supposed to tell Ivan," I said stuttering.

"You don't," she says quietly.

"What?" I said confused.

"You don't until you have more information, for now, you need to wait" she pauses "did they get a head ct?".

"I don't know there wasn't time to ask but Elvina took them to an OR," I said quietly.

"Cmon let's go see Ivan" Killswitch said with a sigh.

We walked over to Ivan's room and a lady was next to him the lady turned and it was my aunt... I felt the rage all over again but she put her hands up.

"I'm not gonna hurt him so please don't attack me!" She says while whimpering.

She turns back to him.

"Hermano I didn't mean to shoot you I didn't even know it was you...I'm sorry...I'm so sorry".

Ivan didn't say anything but he grabbed her hand and held it.

"Funny when I left you almost shot me and when I came back you shot me" he laughs weakly.

"I guess I finished the job" she chuckled quietly.

Then it was an awkward silence.

"I didn't know I had a niece," she says quietly.

"Neither did I," said Ivan.

"I just met her a few months ago and a lot has happened.." he says quietly.

She nods.

Killswitch patted my back and left while I stayed in the doorway looking at her then she notices and turns to me.

"How old are you Veronica?".

"I'm fifteen," I said coldly.

She rubs her eyes.

"I'm guessing your father hasn't told you about me?".

I shook my head.

"Only Ivan kinda," I said while looking out the window.

"Well I'm Elena Emilia Jovana Flor the youngest and no I'm not married sadly my husband died on a mission.." she shakes her head.

"I'm sorry for your loss Auntie," I said quietly.

She begins to cry.

"I never would've thought I would hear the word aunty"

"I mean Anthony didn't want kids and well I can't have kids so I get it," Ivan said with a shrug.

She dries her tears and gets up to hug me which I flinched because I don't like people hugging me when I just met them but I let her.

"Your so beautiful you look exactly like your father" she's says happily.

"she looks more like her mother-" but before Ivan could finish his sentence Auntie interrupted him.

"Don't remind me" she says angrily.

"Are you still mad at her for what she did?? Elena that was years ago" Ivan said while shaking his head.

"She's the reason that Ruben died," she says while clenching her fist "she killed my husband!".

I took a step back she looked like she wanted to punch something and I don't want that something to be me.

"Anyway," she says calmly "where is Anthony?".

Ivan looks at me and so did she.

How do you tell someone that their brother is locked up in a van and he is sedated?
