~~Veronicas POV~~
I woke up to see my dad who was still asleep. it's still weird to say, dad. I wasn't usually allowed to say dad when I was with the Millers I would call them by their first names but with other people I referred to them as mom and dad...I sighed and I got up which accidentally woke up my dad.

"Is it morning already?" dad asked tiredly?

"Um let me check the clo-" I turned around to see Bloodrose on the floor asleep, Killswitch sleeping behind her, nightmare on top of Killswitch while Royal was asleep in the corner.

"They were watching us the entire time I guess they must've fallen asleep," said Dad with a chuckle.

I giggled then I got up and went over to them as I was about to touch Bloodrose she jerked awake and tried to tackle me to the ground but I was too fast and I pinned her to the ground causing everyone to wake up. I felt her trying to kick me and I didn't budge. It felt like we were just playing until I saw the panic in her eyes. I immediately let go as she catches her breath.

"S-Sorry.." I said quietly.

She looks at me.

"It's fine I just don't like being pinned down," she says with a laugh.

I helped her up as Killswitch started to laugh Bloodrose gave her a look and Killswitch shrugged.

"Anywayyyyyyy I'm hungry," said Bloodrose with a pout.

"Yeah me too," Royal says as she pauses "I really want pancakes with sour cream".

We all gave her a look.

"What?" She says confused.

We just kept looking at her as she walked away then we laughed. The van stopped.

"Alright everyone let's go get breakfast," said Ivan.

We all got out and it felt nice to stretch our legs. Ivan came out last. He held out his hand as he helped Alex get down. Dad went over to talk to them Ivan introduce Dad to Alex.

"Oh yeah you were the guy in the closet," said Alex.

"Not my usual way to meet people but yeah," Dad said with a laugh.

They all laughed then we walked into the diner and we finally got food. I was the first to finish and I told everyone that I wanted to explore the place and they nodded.

I went outside and it was hot so I decided to see where we were. There was a map so I looked and we were in Utah. I looked around and saw a gift shop I thought it was weird but I shrugged it off. So I went in and there was a lot of amazing stuff. I was looking around and bumped into someone by accident which caused my glasses to fall I seriously need to get contacts.

"Here I'll get those for you," said a guy.

I couldn't see clearly but I felt someone grab my hand and put my glasses in there. I put them on to see a guy that looked my age who had black spiky hair and crystal blue eyes. He smiled at me.

"Hi sorry about that I'm Amos nice to meet you" he holds out his hand.

I smiled back.

"I'm Veronica nice to meet you too" I shook his hand.

"Let me guess you're not from around here are you?" he smiles.

"I'm from Minnesota"

"Ah the place of snow and a lot of lakes," he said.

I nodded.

"Is it true? are their polar bears over there" he chucked.

I giggled.

"It's not Antarctica and it's not that cold"

"I've been to Minnesota once and it was during a blizzard and I was wearing shorts believe me when I say It felt like Antarctica," he said with a laugh.

We continued talking but then we heard shouting. We looked at each other and went out to see what was going on. We got outside to see Bloodrose tackling a guy and Nightmare fighting girl while Killswitch was fighting another dude.

"Do you know them?" he asked.

I looked at him

"Nopeeeee," I said.

"VERONICA COME HELP US!!" yelled Killswitch.

He looked at me with a grin.

"Maybe a different Veronica," I said with a shrug.

He laughed then Bloodrose yelled.

"IF YOU DONT HELP US YOUR WASHING THE DISHES FOR A WHOLE MONTH!!!".

"Oh yeah no," I said as I went up to them.

I heard him laugh and it made me laugh too. I saw the guy trying to choke Bloodrose so I kicked him in the back and he fell to the ground. Then more guys came out...well crap...

We fought them until all of them were on the ground but then I got punched hard which made me fall to the ground. I saw Killswitch about to attack but the guy started running towards Ivan and Alex. He was about to tackle Alex when Ivan pointed a gun at the guy as Alex went and hid behind Ivan.

"Don't even think about it" Ivan said in a dark tone.

The guy backed up then started racing towards dad and tried to punch him down but dad was quick and fought him easily after a minute the guy was down. then the cops came.

Not again..
