Chapter 6~Joy

I left after a while she needed rest so I went into the hallway but I saw Nightmare standing there waiting when she saw me she asked.

"Is she okay"

I looked at her and said.

"she's fine"

Then she walked away I was gonna ask her something but she was gone. I couldn't believe it was already lunchtime so I walked down to the lunchroom but to my surprise, neither killswitch nor royal was there so I sat down with Kimona and some other girl.

"Hi I'm iPhone but my real name is Diana," she said tiredly.

"I'm Veronica, why are you called iPhone".

"I can kill with one swipe on my phone and hack into anything if I wanted too"

Wow, so many people here have cool codename's I wish I had a codename.

"so you two are new huh? well, I wish you luck it isn't easy being here especially with what's going on" she says with a sigh.

Everyone here was quieter than usual and it felt weird. After lunch, I didn't know where to go so I decided to go to the training area and try the moves they have been teaching me. There were button's that can simulate a person attacking with arrow's and knives I decided to use arrow's. Arrow's started shooting out of the wall's and I did some ballerina move's and gymnastic's which worked to my surprise after.

After I was done it felt like I was being watched and I turned around to see Nightmare and bloodrose watching me and clapping. It felt nice that they were next to each other without glaring or attacking each other. Bloodrose gave me a hug and said nice job while Nightmare patted my back...no one had ever congratulated me on anything, not even my parents...it felt nice. But there was still some tension at least it wasn't that bad.

After they helped me improve my technique. I wondered how could Bloodrose do all that after getting shot with an arrow I wouldn't have gotten up after that...she is really strong. I almost got hit by an arrow but dodged it by doing a kart wheel as I was practicing Bloodrose kept telling me to relax and have straight feet though I'm being shot at really fast and I don't have time to think about that but I tried.

After it was time to leave, Bloodrose and nightmare left together which I was happy that they are becoming friends again. So I got up and walked to the basement and waited for my dad but when he got here I could tell he was drunk but at least he wasn't driving it was my mother but she was smoking which I wasn't surprised, to be honest. But two cars down Bloodrose, Nightmare, killswitch, and royal we're standing there listening and looking at me as my parents were yelling at me to get in the car.

"Hurry up!!!! I have a hair appointment in 10 minutes you disgrace of a daughter" my mother said angrily.

I sighed and was about to get into the car until I felt someone's hand on my shoulder and it was Nightmare.

"don't get in your coming with us" but when she said that my mother started yelling

"WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU A-"

That's when Nightmare pointed a gun at my mother and said.

"I'm your worst nightmare" Nightmare said in a dark tone

My mother just stared at her terrified while my father started laughing for some reason and he passed out. So my mother drove off without a word and I started crying while everyone gave me a weird look until they realized it was tears of joy. I was finally free from my mother and father's grasp.
