Chapter 52~what am I doing....

"Well...I-I" she pauses " I don't need to explain myself".

"Yes you do" I demanded.

"You don't understand.." she says angrily.

"How do you know you haven't told me anything" I snapped back.

She sat there thinking.

"Listen if I hadn't been giving him the medicine he wouldn't..." she starts to say.

"He wouldn't what?".

"look after he left Sonia and you..he became depressed and miserable...he didn't want anything to do with the business so he left but then I found him.."

She pauses.

"So I did what I had to even if it meant hurting him in the process," she says while shaking her head.

"That's a load of bull," I said angrily.

"You had no right to do that!!" I yelled.

"Look if I didn't-" she started to say.

"I don't care why you did it!!" I stood up.

"What are you doing?" She says looking me right in the eyes.

I continued to walk towards her slowly and she tried to back up then she hit the wall.

"I just met you and I already want to kill you even though you are my aunt.." I said in a dark tone.

"But I won't kill you since your family...wait" I walked away but then I stopped.

"If I was able to kill my foster dad.." I slowly turned my head.

"Then maybe..I can kill you.." I said with a laugh.

She started shaking then I turned and walked away. Once I made it into the hallway I began to cry this is too stressful. People I meet are either bad or bad...I sighed as I shake my head in frustration. I wanted to scream so badly... I'm tired of all this...I've dreamt of moments meeting my real parents only to find out my mother is dead and my dad is tied up in a van. Now, I just threaten my aunt..

I sighed and got up then went back to Ivan's room. When I entered it woke up Royal and Nightmare. When they saw me they jumped on me.

"What happened to you???" said Nightmare.

"Did you get attacked?" asked Royal concerned.

I looked up at Bloodrose who nodded.

"I'll tell you but can you please get off me," I said tiredly.

They got up and helped me up. After explaining things they looked at each other.

"Holy...." mumbled Nightmare.

Royal didn't say anything she just looked down.

"You guys didn't know.." I said quietly

It was silent after that the only noise was snoring that was coming from Ivan who was still sleeping. Dr. Yarpah entered the room.

"Oh my what happened to you?" She asked worriedly.

"Oh it's nothing," I said.

Dr. Yarpah motioned for a nurse and asked her to bring an ice pack.

"Anyway, I'm here to tell you Ivan is better so he can go home tomorrow." She says with a smile.

She leaves and we looked at each other.

"What do we do with Alex?" Royal asks.

"I don't know," said Nightmare.

"Is it our choice?" said Bloodrose.

"Well we aren't gonna leave them here that's for sure," said Ivan tiredly.

We looked at him as he sat up.

"I promise I would never leave them and I'm a man of my word," said Ivan.

He yawned.

"You all should get some sleep. We're going home tomorrow"

"Wait Ivan can we ask you about something," said Bloodrose.

"Sure what is it?".

"We were wondering if there are any jobs for an artist in the agency?" asked Bloodrose.

"Why yes why do you ask?".

"Our friend needs a job and she a really good artist," said Nightmare.

Ivan thought for a moment.

"Will she be willing to move to Minnesota?".

Nightmare looked at Bloodrose.

"We could ask she's working around here," said Nightmare.

"Hm bring her here instead might as well do the interview here".

Nightmare and Bloodrose got up and left. Royal fell back asleep. Then Ivan turned to me.

"What happened to you???" said Ivan concerned.

I told him what happened and he shook his head.

"That's not all...I have something else to tell you.." I said quietly.

He gave me a look and told him about what auntie was doing to my dad and he looked pissed.

"Damnit..." he said under his breath.

He pulled out his phone and made a phone call. But I didn't understand what he was saying..he hanged up and patted my head.

I got up and left the room. Then a nurse came up to me and handed me an ice pack I said thank you and she left. I decided to go see Alex so I entered the room and they was asleep I got closer to them. I never really looked at them closely and I saw they had light tan skin, light wavy brown hair, I saw a tattoo of a four-leaf clover on their left leg, maybe 37 years old. They jerked awake and looked at me.

"Who are you??" they asked quivering.

"I'm Veronica I'm Ivan's niece," I said gently.

"Ivan?.." they says confused.

I nodded they starts to look around.

"Where am I?" They asks.

"The hospital..you were shot..".

They looks up and sighs. Then they turns to me.

"Where is Ivan?" They asks.

"he's in the room next door".

Alex looks around I could tell they was trying to figure out something but was getting frustrated. I sighed.
