Chapter 16~ Foul play

My body shakes as I felt his breath on my cheek which made me miss the target. He continued to kiss my cheek and my heart was pumping so hard but then I felt a presence and Antonio could feel it too he immediately let me go and started to look around and I did the same. I turned to look into the woods but when I turned back around I saw Bloodrose right in my face which I jump and made Antonio take out a ninja star and threw it right at Bloodrose but she caught it and threw it back.

"Be careful before you poke your eye out" Bloodrose said annoyed.

Antonio whispered, "Mia Bella do you know her?".

"yes she's my guardian.. kinda," I said quietly.

Bloodrose shook her head then said, "you do realize there are cameras everywhere right".

We both froze and looked at each other Bloodrose was just looking at me waiting for an answer until I grabbed my bow and shot at the cameras. Bloodrose sighed.

"you know that was a stupid thing to do, they are gonna see that the cameras are broken and think that-".

before she could finish her sentence but Antonio stepped in and said.

"I love her"

Which Bloodrose cocked her head and stepped forward.

"say that one more time"

Immediately we both felt a presence that's when Bloodrose picked me up and started running. I looked up to see four guys standing behind Antonio and they started shooting at us I looked to see Antonio but he looked down he didn't want to look me in the eye.

Damnit..why the hell did I think this could work...Bloodrose put me down and looked at me after a moment she sighed.

"I'm sorry"

She grabbed her weapon and went to deal with enemies as I sat there. I heard moans and groans of agony so I got up and went to see if Antonio was one of them but unfortunately, he wasn't. I watched as she put white roses on their bodies.

She turned to look at me she could tell I was hurt so she hugged me and we went back inside. The rest of the day I was quiet and no one seemed to notice which was just fine with me.

When I got home I immediately went to my room and started to question myself. I liked someone I just met and he's the enemy I should've to know it wouldn't work but no I hoped but look where hope gets you. I heard a knock at the door and it was Killswitch I didn't want to talk with anyone but before I could say anything I hear Bloodrose say.

"she's sleeping it's been a hard day"

" I can imagine with the test that's coming up I would be stress too," killswitch says with a chuckle

"Ash want quesadillas"

"Yessssss," she said with a giggle.

I hear the footsteps leave my door. I shook my head and decided to go on my phone which I still hadn't figure out how to use quite well. After two hours, I hear a knock and again it was Killswitch.

"The food is ready come eat"

"I'm not hungry," I said tiredly.

That's when she yelled in Spanish and I understood what she said.

"I DIDN'T ASK IF YOU WERE HUNGRY I SAID THE FOOD WAS READY SO EAT".

I sighed and got up. I opened the door and walked past Killswitch, she gave me a concerning look and I could see why my hair was a mess and looked pissed. Before she could ask what's wrong I went downstairs and eat. After I said thank you and went back to my room and I fell asleep hugging my pillow.
