Chapter 67~I just want to sleep..

I slowly woke up but I didn't feel good..it felt really hot and everything was blurry. I felt a hand touch my forehead.

"Shh it's okay...you need to rest Veronica..." I heard a voice say.

I couldn't tell who it was but I think it was Alex. My vision cleared up a bit and I saw their wavy brown hair and their light brown eyes.

"A-Alex?" I said tiredly.

"Yes, its me Veronica relax.." Alex said gently.

"What happened?".

"You...I... I don't know how to say it.." Alex said quietly.

"...don't worry we're almost home" they said as they looked at the clock.

"In about five minutes" they smiles.

They gets up and leaves while I lay there with a massive headache then I fell back asleep.

"Cmon she's not the heavy" I hear someone say.

"You trying carrying a person up three flights of stairs".

"I've seen you do more than that so quit complaining".

"Stupid".

"Can one of you open the door please".

I woke up to see my room and I looked around and everyone was there.

"How you feeling?" asked Killswitch.

"Kinda better I still feel hot.." I said tiredly.

"I'll go make chicken soup" Killswitch said as she went downstairs.

"Oooh why don't we have a movie night here with V" said Royal.

"Shouldn't we let her rest?" said Nightmare.

"What if she wants to watch a movie" said Royal.

"What if she wants to rest" said Nightmare.

"It's fine" I said as I rubbed my head.

The arguing wasn't helping my headache. I sighed
soon after Nightmare and Royal left the room then Bloodrose came in.

"Hey how you feeling?" she says as she walks towards the bed.

I sat up quickly.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean to say that" I started to say.

Then I started rambling as she listened to me.

"Hey it's alright I know you weren't in a good mood so it's alright," she says with a smile.

"R-Really," I said as tears started to fall.

She nods and hugs me.

"Now rest we have to talk in the morning about some things," she says as she pushes me down gently.

She gets up and starts to walk towards the door.

"Wait what things? Is it bad??" I said scared.

She shook her and left. I laid back in my bed then my dad came in. He sat on my bed.

"How are you feeling Hija," he says gently.

"I feel kinda better," I said.

He rubs his eyes.

"What's wrong?" I asked concerned.

"Everything..." he starts to say.

"I missed out on a lot of important things..." he says as I watched tears fall from his eyes.

"And now I don't know," he says as he shakes his head.

I sighed.

"Well might as well start now," I said with a shrug.

"Do you mean it?" He says.

I nodded.

"I guess I'm not Veronica Miller anymore..now it's Veronica flor it has a better ring to it," I said with a laugh.

He laughed as well.

"Your name is longer than that," he says.

"Wait really?" I said curiously.

"Yeah it's Veronica Maria Angelica Flor," he says as he laughs.

"what is it with people and long names," I said sarcastically.

"Your mother said the same thing," he says with a small smile.

We both laugh.

"Alright I have to go I've had to go see a house I bought," he says as he gets up.

"Bye Hija".

"Bye dad".

He smiled and left. I looked around my room and I saw the piece of paper Amos gave me I decided to text him.

"Hey remember me"~ me.

I sent the text and he responded immediately.

"The girl with the crazy family of course I Remember"~ Amos.

"Are you back in Minnesota?"~ Amos.

"Yeah and no it's not cold"~me.

I giggled at his text then he sent a funny video of a weird cat doing something. We kept talking but then I heard a tap on my window.

"Brb"~ me.

I slowly got up and went to the door and opened it. I was on the balcony but I didn't see anyone. Damnit I forgot my dagger I thought as I looked around.

"Boo!!" I heard someone say.

I turned around to see Antonio hanging upside down.

"Well I'm stuck," he says as he tried to get off the wire.

I giggled.

"Are you okay you look hot well more the usual" he says with a grin.

I rolled my eyes.

"I'm sick" I said.

"Aw go rest then I'll be here dealing with this thing".

I giggle.

"Do you need any help?" I asked.

"No..I'm good" he says while struggling.

I walked over to him and started spinning him.

"Hey!!!" He says.

I laugh and went inside. I sat back on my bed and fell asleep once again.
