Chapter 14~Mimic

When it was over I decided to go get lunch but something was odd and I felt it. Something was watching me or someone so I kept walking but then I turned around and this girl was following me but she had a dead look in her eye. She came closer to me and looked right at me and said.

"You monster"

I gave her a look I don't even know her and she just called me a monster.

"how come you woke up when my sister hasn't that's not fair!!" She said angrily

At first, I was confused then I remember none of the girls in my unit has woken up yet.

"who's you sister?" I asked cautiously.

"Kimona" she says with a sad sigh

I didn't know what to say Kimona never mentioned that she had a sister well, to be honest, she never talked about her family I always wonder why.

"let's talk follow me," she says with a demanding tone.

I hesitated at first but I decided to follow her. After a long walk, we were in the garden. But it was awkward she just stared at the ground thinking of what to say while I looked at the flowers especially the white roses. I imagine bloodrose picking one and coloring it with the blood.

"I'm Mimi my codename is mimic" she finally says.

Mimic what a weird name but mine is Varrow so who am I to judge.

"why is your name Mimic" I say curiously

"I Mimic the enemy's last words as I kill them," she says with an evil look in her eye

I shivered.

"what are the top two last words you have mimic". She thought for a moment then said

"either please I have a family or just do it" I laughed for a second

"We killed our mother," she says coldly

I looked at her with a shocked look did I hear her correctly.

"W-What?"

"It was either her or my sister"

"......I uh"

She got up and walked away and I just sat there thinking but after a while, I got up and walked away I accidentally ended up in the woods I guess daydreaming doesn't help. At least the woods weren't scary it was beautiful. There was this small cliff and I looked down to see a small river flowing peacefully.

I immediately felt a presence I turned slowly and there was Antonio but he was bleeding it looks like he was shot but in the arm, he fell by a tree and look up to see the sky. I slowly walked to him and immediately he pulled out a ninja star but when he saw me he put it down and grinned then said.

"hello señorita"

I giggled

"what happened," I say with a worried sound in my voice.

He looks at his arm then at me but our eyes locked again. I looked away and I pushed up my glasses. He sighs and says.

"casual mission you know" he grins.

"Well at least your English is getting better" I said looking at his bruises.

"Your Spanish no good still" he chucked

I rolled my eyes and knelt to look at the wound as I was looking at it I could feel him watching me see what I was gonna do.

"I'll be right back I'm gonna go get a first aid kit stay put" he laughs

"alright señorita"

I run to the entrance and immediately went to the nurse's office after a minute I found the first aid kit. As I went back to the woods surprisingly Antonio was still there I thought he was gonna leave but no he was just sitting there.

I put the first aid kit down and I tend to the wound remembering what Killswitch told me to do with a gunshot wound she already knew some of this stuff which was concerning. So I patched up the wound and he smiled at me. We looked at each other for a moment and I didn't realize but I was on top of him I was about to get off until Antonio grabbed my hips and whispered

"don't señorita". After a moment our lips locked together and I could feel his warm minty breath but after we heard.

"VERONICA"

I could tell it was nightmare but then.

"ANTONIO"

It sounded like a guy we looked at each other and got up and I started to walk away until he pulled my hand and spawn me. He held me and kissed my cheek then he whispered in my ear.

"see you until next time señorita"

We let go of each other then walked away but we turned to look at each other and again we heard our names so we had to run. I was blushing so hard that I looked like a tomato.
