Chapter 15~ In love with a criminal

I ran so fast I almost fell but I saw Nightmare with her arms crossed and I tried to act like I hadn't just kissed the enemy.

"what are you doing in the woods?" She says with a
concerning look.

"um, I wanted to take a walk because it's a beautiful warm day," I said smiling.

"Warm? You do realize it's like 30 degrees out here right?" she said giving me a questioning look.

Crap I thought she was gonna tell that I'm lying..

"I guess it's hot to you since your face is red" she laughs.

"cmon we're going home" she starts to walk away and I turned to look back at the woods and I smiled.

"HURRY UP OR IM GONNA LEAVE YOU" Nightmare yelled so I ran to catch up.

When we got home I immediately went to my room and screamed into my pillow I can't believe I had my first kiss...and it was with the enemy. I heard knocking at the door.

"come in"

The door opens and Bloodrose comes in with a concerned look and she closes the door.

"So Jasmine told me that you were in the woods" she walks to my bed and sat down.

"yes why is it wrong to do that"I say worried

She looks down for a moment and says

"that forest connects us and with our rival..now did you see anyone there," she says as she looks me right in the eye. Nervously I said.

"No.."

She sighs and says

"you're lying to me I can tell because your lip twitched now tell me who is it".

I sat there looking down at the blanket

"it was Antonio"

She looked down for a moment and at first, she was confused why I didn't tell her before until she looked at my face. The look she gave me was like she's seen a ghost I could tell she wanted to yell but instead, she whispered.

"you like him don't you"

I sat there playing with my fingers but then I nodded. She sighed and whispered.

"you're in love with a criminal".

She scratches her head thinking of what to do but then says.

" Listen I won't tell anyone but if he does anything to you or any of us I will kill him and don't think I won't"

I could tell she was being serious so I nodded.

She got up and walked out of my room. A sigh of relief came out of me as she left I looked out the window excited for tomorrow even though I knew this won't last... the next day I decide to straighten my hair and I put earrings in but when I looked in the mirror I felt like a five-year-old trying to play dress up but I was already late so I ran to the kitchen and everyone was eating I looked at Bloodrose and she looks backed then she giggled.

"what's funny?" Nightmare asked.

"nothing just thinking of something," she says with a smile.

I sat down and eat to amazing pancakes killswitch made we talked for a little bit then we all piled into the car and royal got to drive but first, we had to stop to get coffee of course. We arrived and I decided to go practice outside I grabbed my bow and arrow and walked to a tree that could not be seen and started shooting, of course, I made all the targets as I was about to shoot the next target I felt arms going around my waist I got scared until I heard.

"hello señorita"

I laughed he kissed my cheek then my neck. He whispered in my ear.

"you look beautiful today Mia Bella".
