chapter 27~Ivan And Adriana

When she said those words my heart stopped but at the same time, I didn't believe her. I sighed and started to walk away until she said.

"Don't you remember when I got you that Barbie doll..".

She paused.

"you were so happy".

I clenched my fist and turned to look at her.

"Until you slapped me across the face for accidentally spilling milk".

She laughed "you should've known you were a big girl".

"....I was only 6...."

She looked down and I opened door to see Ivan. He patted my back gently and closed the door. We started walking and I could still hear my "mother" sobbing and yelling my father's name over and over...secretly I was smiling but at the same time wondering...is she pregnant?.

We made it back to the infirmary and everyone was there and I could tell they were pissed because as soon as the door opened Nightmare bolted right at Ivan.

"WHAT THE HELL IVAN SHES STILL SICK COULDN'T YOU HAVE WAITED UNTIL SHE WAS BETTER!!!" she yelled while grabbing his shirt and shaking him with anger.

Ivan was unfazed but it took Bloodrose and Killswitch about ten minutes to get her off while Royal was laughing and recording. They both screamed for Royal to help them but instead, she sat there still laughing.

I would've helped but everything started to hurt again. I sat on the bed and ate chips while watching them. Finally, they were able to get her off of Ivan and sit her down in a chair, Royal got up and ran to get the rope.

Nightmare was squirming and fighting to get free but they were able to hold her down. Royal came back and tied her up good but even though we tied her up she still has a mouth. For the next few minutes, she was swearing in English and Spanish. Finally, Killswitch threatened her with the sandal and she quieted down real quick.

After moments of silence Killswitch finally asked.

"What happened back there?".

I looked down.

"Antonio kidnapped me. I met his sister Adrian..she beat me until I couldn't get up...." I told them. 

Everyone looked at each other then Ivan sighed and said.

"I dated Adriana before she became the leader she was nice but hungry for power I guess she is still mad at me if she did this to my niece..".

"Why is she mad at you and how did she know I was your niece?".

Ivan walked to the window and stood there for about a minute then he looked back at me and said

"She caught me kissing Alex".

Everyone was silent and Ivan turned around looking out the window. Everyone stood there awkwardly and Royal was about to say something until Ivan clapped his hands and told everyone to get back to work reluctantly everyone left except Nightmare, Killswitch, Bloodrose, and Royal.

Killswitch was about to tell Ivan something when her phone pinged she immediately opened her phone and was texting someone. I got up and tried to sneak behind her to see who she was texting but she immediately turned and gently pushed me back onto the bed.

"Ha you thought," she says mockingly then got up and left.

I heard Nightmare and Bloodrose whisper.

"She's been going somewhere with someone but who," Bloodrose said quietly.

"Secret girlfriend?" Nightmare said sarcastically.

Bloodrose gave her a look but thought about it.

"Who knows at this point" they both laugh.

I got up and went to change then untied Nightmare from that chair. That's when Bloodrose stopped me and said.

"Dude you need to rest you literally got the crap beat out of you".

I laughed and wheezed then I said.

"I wanna find out who Alina is talking to maybe it's a boy".

She laughed.

"It could be a girl too," nightmare said.

We got ready and left we were tracking Killswitch's phone and it said she was at a coffee shop.

"ooh maybe it's a date," I said.

I laughed but Bloodrose, Nightmare, and Royal gave each other worried looks and floored it to the coffee shop. When we got there we got out of the car and watched Killswitch as she sat there waiting, after 5 minutes a girl came walking down the street she was really pretty. Alina got up and the girl hugged her but killswitch didn't hug her back that's when I heard Bloodrose say.

"If I hugged her she would throw me into the trash," she said while wiping faking tears.

I giggled and we kept watching soon it was starting to get kinda boring, to be honest, but after an hour they both got up and the girl kissed Killswitchs cheek and walked away. I was excited to see Killswitch find love but when I saw Bloodrose, Royals, and Nightmares' faces they looked scared and worried.

"Boo"

We heard someone say we all turned around to see Killswitch looking at us pissed.

"what are you guys doing?" She asked.

"uhhhhh," I said.

I couldn't think of anything and neither could Bloodrose and Nightmare. They started to speak in Spanish but I wasn't paying attention because I saw a boy by the stop sign yelling into his phone. He was handsome. He has short straight black hair with pastel blue at the bottom and a nice sweater.

"Hm," I said.

Nightmare wondered what I was looking at and turned to see the guy.

"He's hot," said Nightmare.

I laughed and then the guy put his phone down and turned to look at Nightmare...they were just staring at each other for a minute but probably to them it felt like a long time. I heard voices starting to rise in anger. I turned to see Killswitch yelling at Bloodrose for following her and invading her privacy.

She tried to yell at Nightmare but she was busy looking at the guy. Nightmare snapped out of it and said.

"let's go home"

Killswitch left mad as hell, Bloodrose looked unfazed, Royal walked away awkwardly, and I had to yank Nightmare to go to the car. It was an awkward car ride home.
