They looked at me with horrified looks. I didn't know what I was doing but I was shaking badly and kept repeating the same words.

"I'm sorry..I'll be good...please don't hit me.." over and over again.

I tried to stop but nothing was working then I felt hot tears fall down my face. The van stopped and the others came into the living room and tried to calm me down but I did something unexpected Royal put her hand on my shoulder and I almost attacked but then I felt Killswitch pull me into a bear hug and believe that didn't go well either. Dad walked over to me and grabbed my hands then suddenly I felt calm. I stopped kicking and Killswitch slowly and gently put me on the floor then I began to cry again. Dad hugged me as I cried until I passed out..

~~Nightmares POV~~

" ..what just happened?..." I said quietly.

~~Killswitch POV~~

".....I don't know..." I mumbled.

~~Royal POV~~

".....I think we should get her to see a psychologist..." I mumbled to them.

~~Bloodrose POV~~

"....she snapped.." I said quietly.

~~The groups POV~~

"What just happened," said, Ivan.

"She snapped," Bloodrose said quietly.

"The stress must've made her think she's reliving the past," said Killswitch as she shook her head.

Alex came into view.

"Here I'll take care of Veronica," they say.

They walk towards Anthony.

"May I," they say as they gestured towards Veronica.

Anthony nodded as he gave her to Alex. Alex carries Veronica to the bedroom.

"Anthony I'm-" Ivan starts to say.

"Not right now Ivan.." Anthony says as he walks away.

Ivan sighs as he sits on the couch with his head in his hands.

Meanwhile

"Guys are we sure we want to send Veronica to school.." said Royal with her arms crossed.

"She doesn't seem ready..." Nightmare added.

The others sighed.

"I think we should get her a therapist," said Nightmare.

"Mmhm," said Killswitch.

They looked over at Bloodrose.

"You okay?" asked Royal.

"Hm? I'm fine why?" said Bloodrose confused.

"She insulted you aren't you a bit offended," said Royal.

Bloodrose shrugged.

"Not really she was just upset".

"I guess," said Royal.

"Look right now she's in our care we need to do what's best," said Nightmare.

They nodded.

"Do you think we should talk to her dad about this?" said Royal.

"Oh yea I forgot about him," said Killswitch.

They walked over to where Anthony was.

"Hey uh Veronica's dad," Bloodrose said stuttering.

He looked up.

"You can call me Anthony," he said with a small smile.

"Alright Anthony since Veronica is in our care and you're her dad we wanted to discuss some things with you," Nightmare says firmly.

He nodded.

"We want Veronica to see a therapist," said Killswitch.

"Also to go to a public school," said Nightmare.

"And preferably to live with us," said Bloodrose.

"and get her some cute clothes," said Royal.

They gave Royal a look and she shrugged. Anthony nodded.

"I agree" Anthony sighs.

"Are you alright?" asked Bloodrose.

He nods.

"Some bumps here and there other than that I'm fine," said, Anthony.

"So would you like to discuss living arrangements?" said Nightmare.

He nods.

"If you don't mind we would like to take Veronica on Mondays through Fridays," said Killswitch.

"And you can take her on weekends," said Nightmare.

He nodded.

"How come you aren't protesting," said Royal confused.

"What do you mean?" Anthony says confused.

"I thought you would be like no I want her the whole week or something like that" Royal said confused.

"Well she seems more comfortable with you guys and I don't know much about raising girls," Anthony said.

They nodded and continued to talk with each other.

Meanwhile

"How is she?" Ivan asked as he entered the room.

"She's running a fever," said Alex as they put a damp cloth on her forehead.

Ivan sighed and Alex got up they wrapped their arms around Ivan.

"Are you okay?" they say gently.

Ivan nods then he leans down to kiss Alex. Alex let go of him and went back to taking care of Veronica. Ivan leaves.

"...I'm sorry Veronica I know you can't hear me but I'm sorry." said Alex quietly.

Alex looked at the ground thinking.

"I haven't been honest with you..." they starts to say.

"I don't remember what happened earlier when I met you guys but I know what happened to me over the years," Alex says quietly.

"I'll tell you when the time is right...".
