27 - Nice Body

Veera's POV

Medyo kanina pa ako nakabihis pero hindi pa rin ako lumalabas ng bathroom. Naiilang talaga ako. And I'm sure na ganon din naman si KD kaya hindi ko talaga alam kung paano ko pa siya haharapin. I sighed at lumabas na lang ng bathroom. Wala naman akong choice.

I saw KD na nakaupo lang sa kama. He's fully dressed now, naka-long sleeve na shirt pa.

He looked at me but he avoided my gaze agad. "Uh, V-Vee. Sa f-floor na lang a-ako. Dito ka na l-lang sa bed para comfortable ka."

Pumayag na lang ako. Alam ko naman na naiilang nga siya and I don't want to make it worse.

I lied down in my bed after I dried my hair. Nakahiga na rin si KD pero nakatalikod siya sa akin. I closed my eyes and tried to sleep.

"Vee, a-are you still awake?" I heard him ask after a few moments. I opened my eyes and saw that he's now lying on his back at nakatingin sa ceiling.

"Yes, KD. Why?"

"Vee, I-I just want t-to say sorry a-about what happened a w-while ago. I didn't m-mean na bastusin ka." He apologized, he's can't even looking at me while he's apologizing. But I totally understand why. "If that's what you're feeling." He added.

I sighed. "Don't worry about it, KD. And do not think na nabastos ako. In fact, I want to apologize, too. Feeling ko na-invade ko 'yung privacy mo."

He didn't replied. Pareho lang kaming nakatingin sa ceiling. Ayoko namang awkward kami buong gabi hanggang bukas. That would be terrible. Kaya I decided to break the silence.

"Uhm, KD." I called. I didn't look at him but I can see from my peripheral vision that he looked at me. "Please don't think that I checked you out but actually. . ."

I trailed off dahil hindi ko alam kung paano ko 'to sasabihin sa kanya. Finally, tumingin na ako sa kanya. We are now looking at each other's eyes.

"You have a nice body. . ." I said at hindi ko napigilang tumawa. Nakita ko naman na namula si KD before he covered his face with his hands.

"Ugh, Vee! I-I. . . God! I don't k-know how w-will I react with that." He said under his hands. "Is that even a compliment?"

Lalo ako natawa sa reaction niya. Ang cute lang kasi niyang mag-blush at mamula.

"It obviously is, KD!" I said with a playful smile. "Ang ganda kaya ng abs mo. And your V-line too." I added.

"Vee, stop it. Naiilang na ako." Saway niya sa akin but I can clearly see that he's trying his best to hide his smile.

"Bakit? Totoo naman. Wala ka ngang dapat ikahiya sa katawan mo, KD. You should be proud of it." I'm telling the truth but I said it teasingly. "I didn't know that you're hiding a demigod's body underneathe your clothes."

"Vee, stop it, please." He said again pero natatawa naman siya. "I feel like I'm still fully naked dahil sa mga sinasabi mo."

I laughed at his remark. "I don't understand kung bakit hindi ka nafa-flutter. Other boys would be very proud right now if they hear a girl complementing their body."

"Exactly, Vee. They are just boys. Boys who always want their egos to be fed." He retorted. And for a thousandth time this day, he made me smile.

Ang cute lang kasi. Kitang-kita ko that KD is not a boy anymore. He really is a man now.

He put his arms under his head and ginawa niya 'yong unan. He seemed more relax now. Buti na lang at nawala na rin ang awkwardness between us.

"KD, have you had a girlfriend before?" Bigla kong natanong sa kanya."
