7 Months Later
Vince's POV
It's been seven months simula nang makarating ako dito sa Seoul. Veronica and my parents call me often to tell me about their day or to tell me how much they miss me.
Si Jorge din tumatawag from time to time. It's a good sign. He's starting to communicate with us again. He told me na sa The Villamor Hotel na rin siya nagtatrabaho ngayon.
But Veera never did. Not even once. I miss her so much but this is what I ask her, anyways so I have to live with it. I wonder if she misses me, too but I doubt it. Baka nga sila na ni KD ngayon.
"Thank you so much for the dinner, Sir." I thanked Mr. Hae Jin at ganon din ang ginawa ng mga work mates ko.
"You're all very welcome. Keep on working efficiently and we'll have more dinners like this." He said with a smile. He treated us for dinner kasi dahil natutuwa siya sa progress ng construction ng hotel.
It's a good thing that he speaks english fluently because I'm really not familiar with their language.
Mr. Park Hae Jin is one of the biggest investors ng The Villamor Hotel na itatayo dito sa Seoul. He told me na nag-stay siya sa The Villamor Hotel sa Puerto Galera when he visited the Philippines last year and he really liked the service kaya he wants to bring our hotel to his own country so that his fellow men could experience our service too.
"I'll go ahead, Sir." Paalam ko sa kanya.
"Sure, sure. I'll see you on Monday."
We parted ways. I haven't bought a car yet kaya pumara muna ako ng taxi. I instructed the driver kung paano pumunta sa condo na tinutuluyan ko ngayon.
Binayaran ko siya agad when we got to the condo. Papasok na sana ako but I was stunned when I saw who's waiting for me at the lobby.
"Uhm, hi." She greeted and flashed me a smile.
That smile. . . She may have looked more matured now but her smile never really changed. She's still the same girl I left seven months ago. Still the same Veera. . .
She walked towards me nang hindi pa rin ako umalis from where I'm standing.
"Sorry ha? I broke my promise." She said. Tears are starting to form in her eyes. "Hindi ko kayang hindi ka kausapin ng two years eh. Maybe seven months is enough to give you the space that you're asking for?"
I didn't answer. Instead, I pulled her closer and put my arms around her.
"I missed you, Veera. I missed you so much." That was all I could say. "Your smile, your eyes, your body against mine, you, Vee. Miss na miss kita."
"I missed you, too, Kuya. Sobra." She whispered in my chest and tighten her arms around me.
I can feel my chest being wet with her tears. It's freezing cold here now but her warmth made me feel comfortable.
"Vee, I'm sorry. Sorry if I hurt you when I left. I was lying when I said all of those things, though." Sabi ko while planting little kisses on top of her head. Hindi ko na rin mapigilan ang mga luha ko.
I pulled away from her so that I could look into her eyes.
"Every single day na nandito ako, I was waiting for your call. I was waiting for you to tell me to go home because you miss me so damn much." I said, telling her about my fantasy. "Because I know how stubborn you are. I thought that you'll actually call me. But then you obeyed."
We both chuckled because of what I said.
"But I'm afraid that I'll need to ask you to leave as soon as possible, Vee." I muttered.
