Something Strange About You.

Chapter 1: Sonic, The Hedgehog Explorer.

Sonic was on his way for a new adventure, cravings some dangerous things. He was running around. For now, everything was normal, nothing extraordinary, he just thought about what happened earlier...

Sonic was trying to convince Tails to go on an adventure with him, but the young kitsune wasn't up for it.
"Come on, Tails! You and me! Like old time. Just exploring, and maybe we will even find where Eggman is hiding."

Eggman stopped attacking since some time now, making Sonic bored out of his mind, and nobody wanted to search where he was. For Sonic it was suspicious, Eggman would never stop attacking like this, the only thing that will stop him is Sonic's death, or his own. Sonic just wanted to do something! Yeah, relaxing was nice but it been so long since he didn't do anything exiting, his friends were just relaxing and enjoying life and Sonic couldn't take it anymore.
He growled at Tails in frustration.
"Fine then! I'm going outside to find MY adventure and I'll be very happy to do it ALONE!"
He ran outside and slammed the door behind him.
"Stupid 'friends'..."
He murmured to himself in anger.

Sonic frowned at this memory. Why his friends didn't wanted to go on an adventure with him? It's because he is not funny?
'No, of course not. I'm the most funniest guy in the world.'
He grinned at his thought.
But why then?..
He looked down sadly as he remembered.
'They all are trying to live a normal life... And I'm probably bothering them with my things...'
Sonic felt bad now, his friends just wanted different things now and he have to let them go... Maybe he could find someone else? Yeah, he will explore the world until he finds the most unique being, like him.

He was so wrapped up in his thoughts that he tripped on a rock, he wanted to get back on his feet, but he saw he was going to fall on a cliff.
'You've got to be kidding me...'
With his fast moves, he spin dashed down the cliff. When he finished against a rock, not without a headache since his head took most of the impact, he found a mysterious cave, well hidden under the cliff.
"W-What is this?.."
He asked mostly at himself, since he was alone, and stated to smile, despite the headache he had.
"Yes! I discovered something! Now it's time for some adventure!"
Acting like the confident hedgehog he usually is, he entered in the cave in high alert. He don't know what he will find after all...
It was pretty dark at first, something normal in a cave, but he was confused when he started to see lights.
"Lights in the end of a cave?.."
He walked some more, until he found the exit, and what he saw was unbelievable.

There was like a new world  underground! It's was luxurious, a lot of beautiful trees and vegetation. Even little animals like little birds and rabbits and squirrels were living there life. It was a nature paradise.
Sonic looked around in complet awe, walking around gently, to not startles the littles animals. He looked up to see the high roof of the cave sparkling with blue gems, like the sky.
Everything was amazing. He was looking at all the scenery, he even saw a large lake, where he was able to watch some animals drinking.

He suddenly heard the bushes rustling behind him. He looked around, finding nothing, but he started to feel like something was watching him. He looked around more, his back was facing the lake now. All of a sudden, he saw two deep blood like red eyes watching him in a predatory way. He gulped, feeling uneasy, but he prepared himself for a fight. But the moment he moved, the creature jumped on him...
