Chapter Twenty Four

Firstly before you read this chapter I truly apologize from the bottom of my heart, that I haven't updated. I have been sick the last few days and tried writing here and there, but just wasn't feeling it. I want to thank everyone who is reading and liking this story/voting. It truly means a lot. I can't believe there are 110 reads. I want to thank every single one of you :) okay now on with the story.

Lay, D.O and Suho look at Chen worriedly before following him towards Baekhyun's room. Everyone else was standing out in the hall except for Sehun and Chanyeol. "What happened? Is Baekhyun okay?" Suho asked breaking the silence. Chen shook his head, the look on his face grim. "No, he isn't okay. While you were gone Baekhyun ate very little and suddenly darted off somewhere. Chanyeol had asked where he was going and Baekhyun told him the bathroom. A couple minutes later we heard a scream and the power went out. We all ran towards the bathroom and found Baek unconscious. He's not responsive or anything". Chen explained looking at his three friends. His voice shook as he hated to see his friend in such state.

Lay rushed into the room fearing the worst. His best friend lied unconscious his future unknown. He tries healing any possible trauma or anything else but his attempts were futile. Baekhyun couldn't be healed. Lay sighed out of frustration getting upset. "Please be okay Baekhyun. Just hang in there a little longer. I'll try and figure this out". Lay whispered letting a few tears fall.

He stood up wiping his tears away. Lay hesitated as he stood in front of the closed door. How was he going to tell his friends the bad news? He didn't want to break their hearts. Lay sighed opening the door his heart hammering in his chest.

Everyone turned their heads his way worry evident on their faces. "How is he? Is Baekhyun going to be okay?" Xiumin asked worried at how pale Lay looked. Lay' shook his head, his voice coming out shaky. "I-I don't know how to say this, but no Baekhyun isn't okay. I couldn't heal him. I tried multiple times but nothing in his condition changed. It appears that Baekhyun might be in a coma. He isn't responsive at this time, but I'm not s-sure how long he'll be in one. I'll keep monitoring him and checking on him". Lay's voice cracked as he broke the news to his friends.

Suho came up to Lay and comforted him as he cried along with the others. "Hey, this isn't your fault. You're doing the best you can". Suho said while comforting Lay.

Suho tried comforting the others as they thought the worst.

Sehun followed a short distance behind Chanyeol as they walked through the woods trying to be quiet. Chanyeol looked behind him knowing that he was being followed. "Come on out Sehun I know it's you". Chanyeol spoke looking around the green landscape in front of him. The younger peeked out from behind a tree and slowly approached Chanyeol.

"How'd you know it was me? It could have been anybody". Sehun replied. Chanyeol mustered a dry laugh. "The only time I knew that it was you was because you have some way of messing with the air dynamic rather using your power or not. The atmosphere changes when you're around. And also when I'm upset you come to check on me". Chanyeol explained as he looked at his younger friend. Sehun's mouth formed an o shape as he nodded.

"So all these times you knew it was me but didn't say anything?" He asked glancing at Chanyeol.

Chanyeol nodded as they kept on walking. "Yeah, because back when we lived on EXO Planet we were kids then and I didn't want to ruin your fun as you chased after me. I don't want ruin something that might have been fun for you back when things were normal. At least on earth I want you to at least experience some normalcy". Chanyeol explained as he thought it through. Sehun had no idea that he messed with the air even if he wasn't intentionally using his power.

"Things will never be the same Chanyeol. Ever since we fled our planet that was plunged in darkness, we came to earth but things have never been normal. Look at our lives Chanyeol, we're still being hunted by the Red Force even on a foreign planet. But the part that makes this whole journey fun is being with my friends. While we may have our ups and downs were there for each other. Now are we going to discuss your outburst earlier?" Sehun asked changing topics.

Chanyeol bit his lip taking a deep breath. He knew Sehun was right about the outburst. He didn't know where it came from. It was like something possessed him into getting angry by using his power. He looked down at his palms still feeling the slightest heat.

Sehun noticed Chanyeol looking uncomfortable. "To be honest with you Sehun I don't know where the anger came from. Or why I even brought out my power that could have ended up hurting someone. I regret what I did and I know Xiumin and Chen were scared of me. Who'd blame them though? Ever since we escaped the Red Force we all have lapses on our powers. Anger must be the trigger factor that makes me lose control. When I get back I'll apologize".

Sehun nodded a smile on his face. "They'll forgive you Chanyeol". Sehun reassured him. Chanyeol smiled back feeling slightly better.

"Ah, it's so nice to have the happy virus back". Sehun said as he playfully shoved Chanyeol.
