Chapter Thirty One

Xiumin and D.O both run towards the fallen figure before their hearts stop. It wasn't Baekhyun who was lying there. Instead it was their leader Suho who lied unconscious. Xiumin looked behind him to see that Baekhyun was no longer standing there. He looked back at Suho who showed no signs of movement.

"Suho, hey can you hear me?" D.O asked shaking Suho. But D.O got no reaction in return. "Great this isn't good. Xiumin what do we do?" D.O asked scared that the situation got worse. Xiumin looked at D.O then to Suho. "You keep any eye on Suho. I'm gonna ask Chen to help me find Baekhyun". Xiumin explained.

Xiumin ran towards the house headed to where he could hear Chen talking. "Chen I need your help. It's an emergency as in code red". Xiumin spoke with urgency in his tone that alarmed Chen. "What's the code red?" Chanyeol asked. Xiumin sighed before answering. "Chanyeol help D.O take care of Suho. They are on the front lawn. Chen you come with me. I'll explain then". Xiumin said pulling on his wrist.

Chen was confused and worried at how Xiumin was acting. It was out of character for him to seem panicked. "Xiu what's going on? You're worrying me". Chen asked trying to keep up. Xiumin turned to Chen taking a deep breath. "Baekhyun transformed a while ago while he was angry as D.O and I tried calming him down. But it only fueled his power. While Baekhyun was yelling someone came out just as the black orb was aimed at us. But before we could react a light flashed and a scream was heard. A figure fell to the ground as both Chen and I thought it was Baekhyun. But as we saw the figure it was Suho. I told D.O to take care of him. But the bad news is Baekhyun is missing. He ran off". Xiumin explained as he feared the worst.

Chen couldn't believe what happened. "Wait so is Suho gonna be okay? Why would Baekhyun hurt Suho?" Chen asked confused and worried. "I don't know his condition but he's in good hands with D.O. And my guess is that Suho was just being a leader and did what he thought was right by taking the hit for us. Now come on we need to find Baekhyun". Xiumin said tugging on Chen's wrist.

For hours they looked for Baekhyun but no sign of him. His signal wasn't working so they couldn't communicate. By now both of them felt no hope in finding Baekhyun. His power had gotten stronger which could hurt him and others. But what worried them was him getting caught.

"Xiumin I think we're being followed". Chen stated quietly. Xiumin stopped and looked at Chen. "Are you sure?" He asked looking around. Chen nodded. "I feel eyes behind me. I can't hear anything but I feel something". Chen said as he looked behind him. But they saw nothing as the sun shown it's beautiful rays. "Get ready to use your power just in case". Xiumin warned as he looked over at Chen. Chen nodded raising his hand as lightning emitted from his hand.

"Show yourself we know you're there!" Xiumin yelled looking at his surroundings. Something in the distance moved in the brush but didn't come out. "Show yourself or we'll make you". Chen threatened. Suddenly a figure came out of the brush rendering them both shocked. A sly smile came across his face as he approached them.

"W-What how are you alive?" Chen asked letting the lightning from his hand disappear. The guy smirked before glancing towards Chen. "That's no way to greet your brother. It's actually a miracle that I am alive". He stated. "Xiao-ping what, how did you get here?";Xiumin asked speechless.

"I got a distress call from Kai a while ago. Him and I have been secretly talking and it's taken me a while to get here. I'm here to help you. If you're wondering where Baekhyun is I can show you, but it isn't pleasant and you guys need backup". Xiao-ping spoke as he glanced between the two.

"Where is he?" Chen asked worried of his answer. Xiao-ping sighed before looking around. He looked at them his face suddenly growing serious. "Before I came to a resting stop I seen four men taking someone away who I found out was Baekhyun. He's taken by someone but I didn't know who. So I was trying to find you all. We need to hurry and rescue him. The people who took him are bad".

Xiumin could feel his heart breaking or his friend. "Where do we start looking?" Chen asked growing more scared and worried. Xiao-ping looked his friends in the eyes before revealing the truth. "I heard that they are going to take him back to EXO Planet to do more testing. But the exact location i couldn't hear. But he needs you guys to rescue him". He spoke so serious that it was out of his character.
