Chapter Thirty Six

Baekhyun awoke when he felt his watch vibrate his vision blurry for a second. He looked at his watch noticing a message from Xiumin.

Xiumin: We just found your signal. Do you know where you are? Are you okay?

A slight smile came to his lips as a sliver of hope ran through him. Baekhyun looked around before noticing it wS safe to answer.

Baekhyun: Yes, I'm fine. I don't know where I am. All I know is that I'm locked in a basement. See if Chen can track my signal. He's the only one to find my location since he knows how to get the information.

Baekhyun quickly hit send as he didn't know if he was being watched. A sliver of hope rose in him as he trusted his friends to find him. He knew he couldn't escape as their was too many guards. They took hourly shifts to guard his door, that much he knew. But as to why he was here he wasn't quite sure. But he knew that it must not be a good thing. Because the people who took him were the Red Force.

He wasn't sure what more they wanted for him. First they attacked him and stole his power, now he's becoming this monster because his power was switched with something else. "Right I control it not them". Baekhyun repeated as he recalled Xiumin's words.

His watch vibrated again signaling that he had a message. Baekhyun opened it up and read it.

Xiumin: Hang in there Baek, we're trying to find your signal. The codes are jammed which is proving it to be difficult. Just hang tight.

Baekhyun instantly replied hoping he wouldn't get caught.

Baekhyun: I'm hanging in there. They haven't done anything to me. Their has been a lot of guards guarding my door. I been observing trying to see if there is a pattern. But so far nothing. And their is no other exit to this room except the door. The window is made of some strong material that isn't quite glass. I have a bad feeling that this room is meant for something else... Hurry and unlock those codes.

Baekhyun felt more and more uneasy as he observed this room. The room wasn't a typical room. It was almost like it was made to keep him in here. He was caged in a room that scared him of what they'd do. Baekhyun knew that they were capable of anything. He just didn't want to be an experiment. But it was looking like that for the second time.

All he wanted was to have his life back long before this ever happened. His friends wouldn't be hurt because of him. Or would his friends be searching for him. Heck he didn't even know if Suho was okay after what he did. But he prayed that his friends wouldn't hate him. Because right now that's what Baekhyun felt towards himself was hate. All because he hurt his friends. Not once but two times.

He viewed himself as a monster. It was what he had become.

And he hated to see what he would become at his fullest potential.
