"Hello? Miss, uh, Thalia?"

Slowly opening her eyes, Thalia peered at the wrinkly face of an older worker-

From the airport.

Did I really just sleep on a bench? Thalia thought, groaning as she sat up straight- her back instantly aching.

The lady laughed, holding up the bag that she had in her hands.

"The benches always tend to do that." She said softly, setting Thalia's suitcase down next to her before saying a quick goodbye and scurrying away.

"Thank you!" Thalia half-heartedly called after the lady- smiling and feeling a bit better once she started going through her suitcase.

It'll be ok. She thought with a determined look. I'm ok.

Nothing was missing. Not the two weeks worth of clothes, the blanket and pillow, the bathroom type items, or the other little thing she managed to shove inside the bag.

And in the special little compartment- Thalia picked up the one flash card and dirty, dented water bottle.

Now those, those were important to her.

Looking down at these things she remembered the other little packages she forgot at home- which were now probably staring to gather dust- shoved in the back of her closet.

Carefully putting everything back, Thalia wondered if they'd throw out all the stuff she left and fully redecorate her room.

Maybe it'd be a in home movie theatre, or a spa.

"Thalia, Thalia Eldridge?!"

Hearing someone call out her name- Thalia looked up, her hand pausing on the zipper she was about to zip shut.

Maybe thirty feet away from her was some random girl who looked just a little younger than Thalia herself. She clutched a phone tightly in her hands, wearing a pair of jeans- and a One Direction t-shirt.

Maybe she thinks I could get her an autograph or something... Thalia thought at first, watching as the girl bounded over while shouting into her phone.

Thalia could make out, "...found her, get over here now! Yeah, terminal 6..."

Sinking back into her chair once the girl reached her, Thalia knew this wasn't going to be a friendly conversation.

The girl loomed over her, glaring down at her in a hatred and jealous filled look.

Oh course the first words that came out of her mouth were about Zayn, said in a very pissed British accent.

"Listen, you need to stay away from Zayn!" The girl practically growled, going into a lecture Thalia tuned out as she processed the situation.

"Please, I don't want to discuss this with you." Thalia said boldly, standing as she did.

"Don't talk to her that way!"

Thalia couldn't help but jerk backwards as suddenly a second girl appeared, a third one lurking just behind them.

"I'm sorry I don't understand-" Thalia started, trying to be rational as all three of them started talking at once.

"...you think you're so high above us..."

"...'ll probably give Zayn herpes, you slut..."

"...a horrible influence on our boys..."

Feeling overwhelmed, Thalia's natural instincts told her it was time to flee.

"I'm sorry if I caused a problem, but I really should get going." Thalia said, ignoring the protests as she finished packing her stuff back up, only managing to get her bag half-zipped in her panic.

Taking her bag in one hand, she tried to smile kindly as she started quickly walking away from the girls.

But then suddenly Thalia's feet weren't under her anymore- and she was sprawled out on the floor with the wind knocked out of her.

Very slowly she realized that she had been tripped, then quickly scrambling to collect all the things that had gone flying out of her suitcase.

"Hey, we're not done with you!" One of them called, making Thalia's heart rate spike.

With frightened eyes she glanced around, finding the terminal nearly empty besides for a lone sleepy looking family and a few business people.

But this was a airport! With one call Thalia could summon a police officer-

A loud crack echoed across the terminal as the first girl kicked the stuff Thalia had managed to gather away- her hairbrush flying away.

"Listen you nasty gutter-whore- stay away from our boys, or else we'll have to teach you a lesson." One of them threatened.

And before Thalia could react, her head was swimming again.

It was a delayed reaction, but soon enough Thalia was shouting out in pain as she clutched the right side of her face- where she'd been kicked.

"What do you have to say for yourself?" A voice hissed, being followed closely by another kick, this one to the bicep she'd used as a pillow.

"Please-" Thalia managed to start sobbing, being cut off as a hand started yanking at her hair, actually dragging her a few feet.

By then Thalia could hear other voices, people calling for security, shouting at the girls.

Before anyone could stop them she was kicked again, in the neck.

Wheezing, Thalia barely had any time to register the first pain before a second pain ripped through her ear.

Reaching up a shaky hand to touch the right side of her face, Thalia brought it away to see blood.

The pain was so unreal, so sudden that Thalia couldn't react with screaming or crying. All she could do was stare at the blood on her hands, making choking noises as she fought the pain that came with having an ear ring ripped out.

The sound of feet scrambling away filled her ears, as well as the sounds of people asking her questions- most sounding concerned.

She was numb, it was as if someone had put on a pair of fun house glasses on her and had cupped their hands over her ears.

A couple set of hands grabbed her, each gently tugging her to her feet and leading her to a bench.

Thalia sat down heavily, staring up with dazed eyes as people asked her how she felt, if she was ok..

"No, no I'm not ok." Thalia managed to sob out- her eyes rolling back into her head and her body falling unconscious before she could cry another tear.
