I didn't know what to do with the information I had just got.
I could confront him and then risk him lying to me again. Honestly, I just want to know why he didn't tell me.
I get that it's Lydia and of course I'm going to be pissed but lying to me is just going to make everything worse for him.
I groaned running a hand through my hair tugging at my roots frustrated that I didn't know what to do.
"Zav! Let's go to the gym?"
Okay so maybe that's not the first thing someone would do but it's what I know could help me calm down before I do something stupid.
I heard the front door open and I smiled when Reina walked in, "Did you say exercise? What is this exercise you speak of?"
I laughed at her but she was all for it, Zav was already ready so I locked up the house before we began jogging to the gym.
The gym wasn't really that far from my house, so we made it to the gym in about 30 minutes ish.
Reina was trying to catch her breath and I smiled at her. "Come on. We'll take a breather before we start."
She pouted like a little kid making me laugh. "Just cause I'm out of shape means nothing."
I rolled my eyes, "Yeah yeah, come on."
After a ten minute break, I taught Reina some of the things that Xavier taught me.
Well I taught her how to fight in general, something I knew she already knew how to do but still.
Leaving the gym, Reina was tired and refused to walk. Xavier and I shared a look before he lifted her up, causing her to squeal, as he threw her over his shoulder.
"Are you good now?" She nodded giving me a thumbs up.
"So smoothies?" They both shrugged agreeing and we walked to the nearest fast food place which happened to be Arctic Circle so we got ice cream.
When we reached my house I hadn't realized it was 8 o'clock already, I looked at Reina sharing a nervous look.
Let me explain, my dad looks scary when he's mad like when I left school that day? Yeah he wasn't pleased.
And to make it worse Xavier wasn't here anymore, he had went home to help finish or unpack his room.
Did I mention that I convinced Cassie to move closer to us? No? Welp, I did!
Taking a deep breath we entered the house. "Papa? I'm home from working out!"
Instead of getting an answer, we heard laughing coming from the kitchen. The hell? I held back the urge to groan at the sight of Luke with my dad.
God, why is he here? Did he finish his quickie?
"Valerie. Reina." My dad came over and gave us a hug before kissing our foreheads.
Luke gave me a hug but I didn't hug back, which caused him to pull away giving me a confused look.
"So what are you doing here?" I asked with a bored tone.
Reina frowned at me, confused as to why I was acting like this. I have yet to tell her what I found out.
"To talk?" It came out more as a question then anything making me raise an eyebrow at him.
"About how you've been sleeping around with Lydia all summer?" I asked clapping my hands together feigning excitement.
His eyes widened along with everyone elses, I however was smiling at him.
"If so then please," I paused pointing to the door. "show yourself to the door since I already know."
He looked like a fish out of water and he obviously wasn't going to say anything so I grabbed Reina's hand and pulled her with me upstairs.
Once we were inside my room, Reina was staring at me with wide eyes. She looked from me to the door then back to me.
"What in the hell just happened?" I laughed and pulled her to sit down with me.
She then gave me a look of complete seriousness. "Seriously Val, what just happened?"
"Welp, you're in for a surprise."
