You probably want me to explain somethings right?

So Reina began talking to this guy named Cameron who's a year older than us meaning he's already graduated. He works with cars which is something I know nothing about.

We all went out together, me being the third wheel, but I gotta say he's really nice. You can tell that he really likes her and I find that adorable.

Xavier obviously dislikes the fact that Reina is with someone else but I guess that's really his loss more than anything.

He began talking to some girl in our homeroom but I think he's just talking to her to help try and move on from Reina. I mean he's had a crush on her since the third grade, so that's of course going to be hard.

Anyways, currently Xavier and I are on our way to pick up Reina and Cameron to go dress shopping for Homecoming.

I didn't want to go but Reina insisted using the coma card, so Xavier and I are going together seeing as I haven't spoke to Luke in awhile.

"Turn here, and there. Her house is there!" I yelled as Xavier nearly passed the house.

I glared at him playfully, "It'll just be a second. I'll go knock and get them."

"Them?" I froze upon hearing his tone. "Did you not listen to me when I told you Cameron is coming too?"

He groaned and I just got out of the car to see Reina and Cameron walk out of the house. "Hey."

I gave her a quick hug as well as awkwardly hugging Cameron. "So do you want to sit in the front Cameron or should I?"

He looked to Reina for help but I wasn't about to waste time. "Okay, I'll sit in the front."

Getting into the car, I gave Xavier a sad smile as I saw his face fall. "Hey, we haven't officially met. I'm Cameron."

I nervously watched as they introduced themselves. "Hi, I'm Xavier." They did that whole stupid high five fist bump shit making me shake my head.

We pulled out of the drive way and headed towards the mall. The drive was short but filled with awkward silence or maybe that was just me feeling the awkwardness.

"Okay let's go into this store first and see what they have?" I suggested as we entered the mall only to receive a no from Reina.

"Alright then, let's just go venture around."

"Okay, well if you need me I'll be where the food is." Xavier told me but he didn't make it very far since I grabbed his arm tightly.

"No Xavier! You HAVE to be here." I pleaded not wanting to be alone here since Reina had left me basically.

When he didn't give in, I abruptly sat on the floor and began to start whining. Nervously he began looking around at everyone, "Okay okay, just stop it!"

I smiled in accomplishment, I held out my hand and he pulled me up. "Get back to your lives people."

Awkwardly the crowd dispersed and I dragged Xavier to a random store.

Walking towards the back where the dresses were located, Xavier went to one side while I went to other.

Looking through the racks, I found a red dress that I thought was cute. It was a red boob tube flare dress, or so the tag says but it was perfect to me.

There was no design but either way, I really liked it. "Zav, what about this one?"

Holding up the dress he smiled at it, "Try it on." Agreeing with him, I walked into the dressing room.

Quickly, I changed into the dress and smiled that it fit me. I walked out and showed Xavier who gave me two thumbs up.

So I bought it, or I was going to.

I held back the urge to laugh when I noticed the lady behind the counter was obviously checking out my cousin.

Like at least don't make it so obvious.

Shaking my head, I slipped my hand into Xavier's and began to enact something we haven't done in years.

"Can we please go for ice cream after this babe?" I pleaded as I set the dress on the counter.

Okay so before you ask, in middle school when girls would tease me about not having a boyfriend, Xavier pretended to be my boyfriend.

At this time, I didn't know Luke yet.

When they actually wanted to see us kiss, we always made up excuses like we were sick or say something in coherent and walk away.

Because there was no way, I was going to kiss my cousin. That's just gross.

"Course, anything for you." He played along, bringing my hand to his lips as he placed a small kiss on it.

I turned back towards the lady, a huge smile on my face. "Right how much?" Ignoring the fact that she was openly glaring at me, I paid and we left.

When we got to the food court, I couldn't hold it in any longer and I burst into a fit of laughter to the point that my sides hurt.

"Oh my god. That was brilliant, I think we've gotten better on our acting skills." I joked making Xavier laugh again shaking his head.

We both pulled ourselves together seeing as people were staring and I was positive soon we'd be kicked out.

"Alright, alright let's go wait for Reina and Cameron." I noticed the distaste in his voice as he said Cameron's name.

I sighed, walking beside him. "She's happy Xavier, even if it's not with you you have to be happy for her."

He avoided eye contact with me, knowing that I was right. "I know, I just need time still."

I smiled sadly at him, "I know. Trust me I know."
