I woke up and looked around not recognizing where I was.
Suddenly an attractive man came out of no where and hugged me, causing me to scream. "Who are you?! W-Why are you touching me?! Where am I?!"
The man looked like something in him snapped.
"Valerie?" I turned my head and saw Reina or someone that looked like her.
"Reina?" She nodded and I bit my lip trying to remember something, anything. "What happened, the last thing I remember is us with a bunch of girls getting ready?"
Reina sighed in relief, "Do you know the names of those girls?" I shook my head. Is it bad that I didn't? "What about me?"
The guy standing next to her asked, I thought about it but I hissed in pain as my head began to hurt, and that's when the doctor stepped in. "Alright no more of this. We need to make sure that she's okay and run some tests."
The guy who hugged me had this look on his face that made my heart ache. I had this need to make him feel better, but how could I when I didn't even know him?
After several minutes of being asked multiple questions that made my head spin, they finally left me alone.
I was about to relax when more people rushed in, "Oh my god, Valerie! You're okay!" Oh god, who were these people?
Fear, was the current emotion that ran through my veins.
I yelled the one name that came to mind, "Reina!" I had pulled my legs closer to my chest as she ran in my heart monitor was beating like crazy.
"What's wrong?! Are- ooh." She pushed everyone out of the room ignoring their protests.
Finally I was alone.
I began to examine the room, then myself and I gasped when I saw the ring on my hand.
Am I engaged, married? To who? The guy from earlier? Luke?
"Yeah, right of course I'm not engaged let alone married." I scoffed, shutting my eyes for a second only to snap them open when I heard someone speak.
"Actually you are engaged, to me." The guy from earlier ... my head starting hurting when I tried to remember his name.
I winced in pain slightly when it began to feel like someone was hitting my head a million times with a hammer.
"Are you alright?" He asked, ironic we're engaged and I don't even know his name. "Yeah, just a headache. What's your name?"
He gave me a smile but it didn't reach his eyes. "Elijah." I returned the smile even though it was fake.
"Elijah." I tested his name as if making sure I didn't forget it. "So we're engaged?" He nodded and his eyes seemed dull, lifeless even.
"How did you ask me?" I asked curiously. "Well princess that will be my little secret till you can remember." He teased, making my heart flutter at the nickname he gave me.
The heart monitor went off, meaning he knew he just made my heart flutter.
He chuckled and walked closer to my bed. "Get some rest, you need it." He then helped me get somewhat comfortable in this hospital bed.
Placing a kiss on my forehead, somewhat took me by surprise and my heart stop for a second.
He gave me a worried look. "Are you okay? Should I grab a doctor? Yeah I should grab a doctor."
He was about to walk away but I quickly crawled to the end of the bed hugging him from behind.
What was I doing?
