*timothys prospective*
I woke up luckily. I was in fear when I passed out that I wouldn't live to see another day. That he'd kill me in my sleep. Yet here I was rising to another day. I awoke next to the wooden stairs. Dried blood coated where my head laid. I crawled up using the wall as my support. Limping I walked to the bathroom. Looking at myself in the mirror wasn't shocking. Yet saying I looked bad was an understatement.
My brown hair fell in my face. My sun kissed skin looked almost all bruised. My eyes had swelled shut and dried blood was on the side of my face. My lip was busted as well and swollen and I looked utterly weak.
Pulling up my shirt I saw I had a blue and purple bruise running all the way down my side and when I breathed or moved it hurt... Bad. I took in short breaths and pulled up my jeans. I had a swollen purple ankle and my wrist was tattooed with bruises as well.
"You better be covering those up." A voice boomed behind me. I looked in the mirror for my eyes to be matched up with his. He had a ugly smirk on his lips and I knew if I didn't get out of here I would be beat once more and I don't know if my body would be able to live through the next one.
"Father I need to go to the bathroom please let me have some privacy." I pleaded with him. He sighed but nodded his head. He had evil lurking in his eyes and I couldn't help but shiver in fear. He laughed at that and stalked away. I knew this was my chance so I shut the door gently. Looking around I noticed that there was a small window. I had never noticed it before but now it was like glowing with safety. I stood up on the toilet seat and shattered the window open. I heard my father stomping and yelling and I scampered out of the window. Like a lighting bolt of pain wen through my body as he latched onto my ankle pulling me back inside. I knew if I was to go back into that house I would die. I latched onto the metal clothes line pole that was luckily only a few inches away and hauled myself up. Pain shot through my body but I ignored it. Once out of his grip I quickly got up onto my feet and took off down the street towards the hospital. My ankle gave out on my twice but I got back up and ran. He had followed me for a block and then I think gave up but I still didn't stop.
Running in the doors opened automatically. Panting I rested my hands on my knees and looked up to Molly that was starring at me a crooked grin on my face.
"Hiya."
