*mollys prospective*
I ran inside. The desk was on my left.
"Maam please my daughter, we were walking and she fell and her eyes went into her head she wasn't drinking water. And now she isn't moving but I can feel her heart beat."
"Calm down miss." They pulled nala from my arms.
"Miss you have to stay here." Once she was on the bed she started shaking violently. 'Well that's weird, she wasn't shaking when she was in my arms.' I thought to myself. She opened her eyes and her pupils had rolled into her head again and saliva was coming out of her now open mouth.
I wanted to run to her and hug her. She was so innocent to the world what did she do to deserve this? This kind of life.
I retreated back to the waiting room. There was a large man on the oppisite side of me. Built strong with a buzz cut. He had a golden band on his ring finger and was pulling tightly on his hair. On this side closer to me there was a guy. Probably around nineteen. He had brown hair that flipped up on one side. Dark grey eyes and sun kissed skin. His eyes held sorrow. His pink lips curved downwards into a frown and his stormy grey eyes had bags under them. I slowly approached him fearing that the other guy may go ballistic if I came to him. For he was much stronger then me and much much taller considering I'm only 5'2".
"Excuse me sir." His head perked up and he looked at me as if studying my features.
"Yes?" His voice was deep and husky but full of sorrow.
"Do you know what town this is?" His eyes held confusion but he masked it with understanding.
"Clarkston why do you ask?"
My eyes widened at this news. I was back in Clarkston.
"I was just wondering." Full of shock, nervousness, and being terrified I slowly sat down next to him.
He broke the silence in the small waiting room.
"Why are you here?"
"Um long story."
"If you can't tell I have plenty of time on my hands." He smiled but even me being a stranger could tell it was a forced one.
"I don't share my secrets with strangers."
"My name is Timothy James porter." He held out his big strong hand for my to shake. It fitted with my small petite hands. I shook gently.
"Well my name is Molly grace Cox."
"Well Molly grace cox, we are not strangers anymore."
I smiled at his attempt and decided to tell him half of the story.
"Long story short I met some abusive people and then ran away with two little girls and the mother to get away from them and now she is in the hospital, but she feels like my little girl."
"That would explain the bruise on your cheek."
"I'm surprised you didn't gawk at it like everyone else." Cassidy was now in the hospital but sitting oppisite from us with zavie snuggled inbetween Andrew and Cassidy. Cassidy's head was laying on Andrews shoulder and she was fast asleep while Andrew stared at me amused.
He broke my thoughts. "I don't look at bruises, I look at the beautiful people." I turned my head my mouth open to reply but I couldn't think of anything to say. His grey eyes connected with my green ones and he smiled.
"So why are you here?" I decided to change the subject.
"My mother has cancer and had a seizure, on the way here she stopped and just blacked out. Now they just told me that she is in a coma." His eyes filled back up with sorrow.
"I'm so-"
I was cut off by him.
"Don't say sorry, sorry doesn't fix it. It is the truth, never sugar coat the truth. Cushioning the blow still leaves a bruise. Miswell just give them the full blow." I nodded along to what he was saying.
"Sorry." Was all I said then mentally slapped myself for saying sorry once again.
"Did you not just hear what I said?" He had a stupid smirk on his lips.
"Do you have a phone?" I randomly asked.
"Yes." He looked away from me and just looked forward.
"Well can I use it?"
"There is a magic word. You should use it sometime."
"Please?" I was getting annoyed.
"Here ya go." He pulled out his phone from his pocket and gave it to me.
I dialed the digets in my phone and then held it up to my ear avoiding my bruise. It rang three times until a groggy voice answered. A smirk was painted on my lips.
"Hello?"
"Hello there."
