She laid her head on my shoulder. I knew if have a stain on my shirt from her blood and tears. Her small hands clung to my shirt like it was dear life. I could feel small sobs escaping her mouth. It hurt me that dad did this. But I had no choice. I just ignored the feeling in my gut and did my job. 'I think I will put her in the cellar. No' I thought 'I think I will put her with Nala.' Nala was my daughter, I had her without being married and her mother died. She looks a lot like her mother. I couldn't stand to see her so I locked her in the basement and Cassidy feeds her and keeps her company most times. Zavie also does. Zavie was Cassidy's five year old. Dad hated the father of Cassidy's baby and shot him. We all lived with the family secrets in this house. The house is packed with secrets.

Zavie would live in the basement too. So why not have another girl.

I was drawn out of my thoughts by a small voice.

"You enjoy this don't you?" I had to smirk at her for being so unbelievable why would I enjoy it? She really reminds me of Monica. Nalas mother. My old lover. We had a small conversation and I guess I was pretty heartless. Soon she gave up and just fell asleep on my chest. I stroked her hair and she snuggled closer. She was adorable in her sleep. I smiled to myself and soon we where outside. We had a small door that entered into the basement. It faced the forest. The dark gloomy forest. It always scared me to be over here so I wasn't over here much. Knowing what lurked in the shadows I dared not to go in there. I gently sat Molly on the ground and unlocked the basement.

"Nala Rae!" I yelled into the darkness.

"Yes father?" I lit the lanterns and came in.

"Why is it so dark in here?" I dared not to look at her but instead looked around the room.

"I ran out of lighters and battery's." Her small voice was just like Monica's.

"Well I have a vistor for you. I'll send Cassidy with zavie down later and some battery's and stuff. This is Molly. She is unconscious at the moment." I carefully sat her down on the bed and stroked her hair. She looked like a young girl. I stood up and walked towards the exit.

"Daddy." I was stopped by those words.

"What?"

"How come you don't love me anymore." My eyes blurred up with tears but I just walked out of there and shut the door locking it.
