*her prospective*

I didn't really do anything this weekend besides sleep and starve.

I had gotten on the scale. Last monday I was 127 pounds it was now Saturday and I was 115 I had dropped 12 pounds with a hight was five eight.

I pulled up my shirt and looked. Stranding striaght I could see the highlights of my ribs on my moon pale skin. I needed food.

By now we only had bare essentials and we were barely making it by. My mom worked at a small video store. I had tried side jobs but with school it interferried, but I guess I could try again. I was just so hungry at the moment. I felt like I was starving. I pulled my sweat shirt on covering my faded scars. I let down my chestnut hair. It covered the green eyes I've come to hate. They had seen too much from such a small age.it wasn't fare. But it was my life. I had to get used to it.

I snuck down the rickety stairs and crept to the faded white door looking back at my over worked mom who was now fast asleep on the couch.

I ran down the dark and bare alley-way away from our disastered old lemon house and bolted through the shadows lining the road to the quant little dairy shop. They had always threw out cooked food at night. I know it was gross but it was that or death.

I walked to the dumpster and saw the bread and golden frosted doughnuts. They may of been in a dumpster but I was starving. I grabbed enough to fill my hands and walked to the opposite side of the shadowed alley. I sat down and took slow bites savoring the taste. They where still warm from sitting in that little glass window with the light shining down making them look even more delicious.

Right when I was done I wiped my mouth and smiled at myself. That had been the best tasting food in months. And I thanked The Lord for it.

"What are you doing?" A strong but gentle at the same time familiar voice said

I gulped "N-nothing." I stuttered out. I then looked up to see the person who watched me devour everything... jasper.

"I saw you... Why did you do that?" His voice cracked at the end. Making my heart bust a little more then it already had.

"Um... Nothing for you to be concerned about." It hurt me to say it because it did concern him. I wanted to tell him everything and have him hold me in his big arms. Yet all I could bring myself to do is stand up and take off running. Too scared to look back.
