mollys prospective*
After chatting with the group they had left and me and nala to fall into a deep sleep. She was already sleeping so I was yet to follow in her footsteps. Soon I did and it was very peaceful.
When we woke she was sitting in a chair fumbling with her fingers.
"Hey nala." I yawned and wiped the sleep from my eyes.
"Hello Molly."
She was very polite for her age I had noticed.
"I don't really know you that much miss but I feel like I have for a while..." She looked up making eye contact then quickly breaking it away.
"Well wanna play 20 questions it may help." I smiled at her and she nodded hesitantly.
We played twenty questions quizzing each other on activitys, colors, and food.
I learned that she hasn't tasted that much food because she had always been locked up but she'd have to say her favorite is mashed potatoes.
Her favorite color is a deep purple and she likes to play board games.
We had talked for a good half an hour when The door to our room opened.
My eyes where fixed on the door probably full of fear. But relief washed over me when I found it was just Dominique bringing some stuff in.
"I hope I'm not intruding." She smiled at me with a stiff smile and then turned to nala and made it more realistic. Yet I noticed it didn't go up to her eyes.
She must of noticed I sensed concern because she quickly covered it up with an emotionless mask.
"Hey I know why I think I know you so much! I remember now." My head slowly turned to nala my eyes not leaving Dominique until my head was fully turned and then I gave my undivided attention to nala.
"Where did you see me from darling?" I opened my arms and she scampered into them.
"In my dreams when I was three I remember this guy came and talked to me in a dream. He had white robes with a purple sash. He had brown hair too and looked really strong and almost like a king." She gave me a smile.
"He said I would help him out someday and to not be afriad of him for he was my father." Confusion masked her face now.
"But I didn't understand because I already had a daddy. Yet he didn't love me. Anyways when I started to grow up I used to have dreams of this lady. She had brown hair though but she had like a face of an angel and she looked like you." I smiled at her.
"Well honey I'm no angel just looking out for you. Trying to get through my own problems as well." I smiled but she looked deep in thought. her eyebrows where scrunched together with her lips pursing.
"So then your my garden angel? I heard zavie talk about those one time." She got excited.
"Maybe maybe not though. It dependse."
She nodded her head sleepily like sleep decided to over rule her excitement and she soon fell asleep on my shoulder. I thought that it was good for her to have a nap and maybe is join her but then I remembered the look of distress on Dominique's face and was going to talk to her. I gently moved out of the bed and took all the cords attached to me off. I quite trotted over to the door and opened it. Light flooding into the room. I quickly closed it not wanting to wake nala.
I walked out to the waiting room and looked around for Dominique. she say there looking at a walk. Her dark hair hung in her face and her hands clutched the seat.
"Hey Dominique." I whispered at her. Luckily for me she heard me and her head poked up.
I motioned for her to come here and she did.
"Why did you look so sad?" I wrapped my arms around myself rubbing up in down because it was so chilly in here.
"What are you talking about?" She glared at the wall behind me refusing to make eye contact.
"You know what I'm talking about, spill it I've known you far to long to know that nothing is wrong when you act like this." I glanced her over
"Okay well I was wandering around yesterday and I came across Timothy's room or where his mom was I wittnessed the whole thing... " she looked around the room nervously.
"Oh well that must if been depressing and shocking I'm so sorry you had to see that." I gently touched her arm but she fidgeted.
"That's not the shocking part... I heard him over talking with his mum... I heard some things." She lowered her voice now.
"I think his father beats him. He was scared to go home to his dad said his dad was gonna hit him. I think he's in trouble." She looked around nervously then met my eyes and it was full with complete concern.
"Well I'll ask if we can leave and well go looking for him." I smiled a bit but worry overtook my body.
I didn't want him to go through the same thing I went through.
She nodded and I went to the front desk.
"Excuse me miss." The woman looked up and smiled at me.
"How may I help you?"
"I had passed out waiting for my daughter and they put me in the room but something came up and I need to go. So I was just advising you guys." I smiled and stepped away.
"Cassidy." She was sitting in the waiting room and her head snapped up. Her eyes meeting mine.
"Yes what do you need is everything alright? Where is nala? What's going on." She hurried over to me and I just put my hands on her shoulders and sighed.
"Something came up I need you to watch nala she's in my room." I smiled and the automatic doors slid opened. I immidiatly looked at the door with fear out of instinct.
I was glad I did. My eyes immidiatly turned to concern and I ran to the door and he fell into my hands.
